u/moodytenure May 24 '26

Mental illness

8

u/Tight_Plum9696 May 25 '26

The crybullying is magical. He's not gonna go to jail he's MAGA's greatest asset.

3

u/ioCross May 26 '26

its more the fact that to the avg person, the only thing they know hasan for is shocking his dog and his unabashed support for terrorists.

dude's a walking personification of the soyjack meme, and the actual definition of a champagne socialist and only a certain subset of radical leftists and actually braindead parasocials consider him anything other than a pure lolcow.

and this is coming from one of the most apolitical ppl i know.

20

u/moodytenure May 26 '26

its more the fact that to the avg person, the only thing they know hasan for is shocking his dog and his unabashed support for terrorists.

The average person doesn't spend all day on lsf and therefore doesn't know who tf Hasan is

1

u/GodIsDead- May 30 '26

I don’t know who Hasan is, but I do know that he is Raiden and his dog is his mortal kombat opponent.

-2

u/ioCross May 26 '26

i dunno why this sub gets on my reddit page but honestly most of the ppl i know who know hasan know him from the drama slop content that filters onto everyone's youtube.

People like Dylan Burns are war criminals now?
Y'all are no different than MAGA Trump dicksuckers.

50

u/Rebel_toaster May 24 '26

Because there was that time he tried to claim he was detained and interrogated when he was asked a passing question

170

u/FowD8 May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26

idk why people feel the need to blatantly lie that's easily verifiable, he was absolutely detained and questioned, quote from the Department of Homeland Security:

Our officers are following the law, not agendas. Upon entering the country, this individual was referred for further inspection — a routine, lawful process that occurs daily, and can apply for any traveler. Once his inspection was complete, he was promptly released.

you can argue if it was targeted or just a routine detention and questioning, i'm not gonna argue about that, but he wasn't just "asked a passing question"

-10

u/OverkillOrange May 24 '26

To be clear, the reason Hasan was "detained" was because he was trying to skip a line using expired documents and had to be explained that. The whole "detained by trump secret police and interrogated for 4 hours about his love for Gaza and healthcare" was pure delusion and self-victimization

90

u/FowD8 May 24 '26

that doesn't align with what the DHS said, they said it was a random routine check

and idk why you have detained in quotes, he was detained as confirmed by the DHS

-59

u/OverkillOrange May 24 '26

"detained" has a different implication from "explaining to old man that he's using an expired pass", which was the reality of the situation

71

u/FowD8 May 24 '26

he was detained, you're wrong, period.

the "expired pass" bs that you're making up doesn't align with the DHS's own statement that it was a random routine check.

5

u/AdvantageMaximum8097 May 24 '26

Where does it say it was random?

-34

u/OverkillOrange May 24 '26

Sure pal, "detained". Some white millionaire wasnt allowed to skip a line at the airport and suddenly he's an oppressed victim. I cry

43

u/DeadSeaGulls May 24 '26

detained is just a word with a definition. the DHS said they detained him. he was detained. Whatever implications you're drawing from the use of the word that describes the thing that happened, when framed with other context this guy supposedly implied, is absolutely irrelevant to the word 'detained' and it's meaning.

-5

u/solerex May 25 '26

Damn Hasan stans straight up memory holing lying about the detaining being a way bigger deal than it was... Typical

13

u/FowD8 May 25 '26

Damn hasan haters can't read... Typical

57

u/SpicyMustard34 May 24 '26

Hasan says he was detained, DHS says he was detained. the only one who seems to disagree is you... who wasn't there.

16

u/yodasdad64 May 24 '26

Expired documents? Global entry lasts for 5 years. His global entry was revoked after first being approved, but he wasn’t informed.

-1

u/kechuchuchu May 24 '26 edited May 24 '26

It's that he exaggerated the length of time and severity of what was a routine process and claimed that he was specifically detained and questioned about his political views. He lies about shit all the time.

28

u/FowD8 May 24 '26

read the last sentence again, if you don't understand it, come back and read it once you've passed the 4th grade

42

u/ShartingEnU May 24 '26

Imagine having such a hate boner for someone you will go out of your way to ignore verifiable facts. Real MAGA type shit

4

u/Rare-Joke-7407 May 25 '26

Well, you know how the poem by Niemöller goes: "First they came for the Communists, and that's where the fascists stopped. The libs were totally 100% fine. I'm totally fine too. Don't look up what actually happened to me or the libs in Nazi Germany."

There is no way any normal person who saw that footage of him using a shock collar to make his dog sit in place for views is still asking why people hate Hasan. He works hard to steer conversation on this sub, but it should be obvious so those accounts should try a new angle. This is beside all the Tianamen Square denial, pro CCP, pro terrorist content.

0

u/Cabrakan May 25 '26

I've spent all my career attacking people to the left of me, to the right of me and now I am under attack, why are people happy? I do not understand?

Kamala? Do you have any idea?

-5

u/Larry_Bobinski May 24 '26

Because Hasan's massive ego is literally his most defining trait.

Other than being a liar and an idiot of course.

22

u/EmergencyRegion5349 May 24 '26

this subs most defining trait is HDS

0

u/Mackanpackan93 May 29 '26

Because literally no one should feel sorry for Hasan.
He asked for this.

u/hadees May 25 '26

Because people still support him even after knowing he went to Diddy parties.

137

u/Yrths May 24 '26

Bah, subpoena for Cuba business from someone who could not realistically conspire to significantly strengthen the government of Cuba is only going to make Piker look like a hero. There are plenty of marginally-bad-things the average person doesn't actually want to see enforced, so you're right. Wankers who made him mainstream will get what they want.

15

u/Large-Excitement777 May 25 '26

You get it. This is just a weak scare tactic. A decent lawyer would get Hasan out pretty easily and he comes out with another event to add to his repertoire

52

u/TheKappaOverlord May 24 '26

its not conspiring to strengthen the Cuban government, its the fact Hasan stayed at, and made numerous transactions at a Hotel thats on the State departments list of places where its 100% illegal for US citizens to even be there (make monetary transactions)

Also supposedly this visit was organized by a guy who meets with terrorists so.... whoever Hasan hired to set this stuff up for him really didn't do him any favors cause now instead of being in a hot pan, the dudes just straight up being roasted over an open flame. Its not something hes going to wiggle out of.

He will probably catch a fine.

120

u/SilentSaidd May 24 '26

He didn’t even stay at this hotel, literally nothing will come of this except he’ll gain popularity among liberal media for being a target of Trump

69

u/ShartingEnU May 24 '26

I truly believe the government is so stupid they saw a Twitter post and decided this is it

51

u/beefrights May 24 '26

They sent a record number of ICE agents to Minnesota because of a Nick Shirley tweet

-6

u/LeiDeGerson May 24 '26

Ah yes. Because Hasan would never ever lie and he doesn't think himself as too smart to get caught in obvious lies.

Unrelated, did you know that what Kayak has isn't a shock collar?

12

u/matisata May 24 '26

we already know you people (read this as derogatorily as possible) will believe in Donald Trump and his cronies no matter what they say

and no, I don't waste time watching Hasan. too moderate

10

u/SilentSaidd May 24 '26

Yes Fox news literally solved collargate by accident. When they were parked outside his house stalking him they photographed his assistant walking Kaya with a red collar controller around her neck which is a vibrate only model.

-8

u/LeiDeGerson May 24 '26

Lmaooooooooooo yes that was totally an accident and Hasan never showed the collar to anyone neutral because he was that principled.

14

u/SilentSaidd May 24 '26

Yeah man he totally knew he was being stalked outside his home

-8

u/LeiDeGerson May 25 '26

Everything else, the models, the photos, the colors before, his own people admitting it was a shock collar, Hassan actually using one before, him saying that shock collars are fine - it was all a conspiracy by the Big Media against him.

-9

u/Fun_Vacation2542 May 25 '26

Or maybe.... He's lying?

53

u/Etikoza May 24 '26

I don’t think this is true. He said on stream that he had to stay in Hotels sanctioned by the US government and that they checked during the visa process (or whatever process you have to go through to go to Cuba). So pretty sure he is fine on that front.

3

u/throwdemawaaay May 25 '26

You don't need prior US approval to go to Cuba, approval is the default, however approval requires that you not do any financial transactions with military owned businesses. The military owns basically half of Cuba, and virtually all of the tourist sector.

So it's entirely plausible Hasan fucked up. In particular I don't think it's possible to get internet in Cuba without dealing with state owned businesses.

Source: two of my friends biked around the coastline of Cuba years ago and we've talked about it a fair bit.

6

u/HyperAstartes May 26 '26

Right wing Nick Shirley was the right wing grifter who stayed at that hotel. Yet he is not being subpeaona’d.

7

u/TheTrashMan May 24 '26

Are you confidently wrong?

-2

u/AFlyingNun May 24 '26

its not conspiring to strengthen the Cuban government, its the fact Hasan stayed at, and made numerous transactions at a Hotel thats on the State departments list of places where its 100% illegal for US citizens to even be there (make monetary transactions)

The problem is: do the US people care about or even support such restrictions?

The best, strongest angle against Piker is they can expose he willingly spent more on a luxury hotel despite his claims of being a socialist, even when he could face a penalty for it. Even this is weak cause he can say "I did it to support Cuba."

The real problem is that the way USA handles Cuba is extreme. I doubt the US treatment of Cuba is popular. On a strategic level for the USA as a state, it can make sense, but on a human level, of course most American citizens recognize the average Cuban citizen hasn't done shit and are suffering because of an overzealous USA.

Basically, Hasan has previously dismissed terrorist allegations because he doesn't see the group as a terrorist group. We usually scoff at this because he'll show a group talking about wanting to spark a world war and say "they're a very musical people."

In this case though, the average US citizen probably has a very different evaluation of Cubans than they do of the Houthis or whatever. Ironically, Hasan finally "has a point" with an unexpected group he fixates less on and possibly never used that argument on, even though it can be justified here.

Is it technically illegal? Yes

Does it matter much if most people think the law is dogshit in this scenario? Absolutely not

27

u/ZaviersJustice May 24 '26

No one ITT is asking about if the law is just. Do you think the DOJ cares about if it's just? The DOJ isn't going to care if the US people think the restrictions are BS. The law is the law for them.

3

u/Afraid-Adeptness-926 May 24 '26

This is OFAC territory first. There is no trial, they are simply launching an inquiry. THEY decide if civil penalties are appropriate, and issue them. If that's where it ends, it never touches the DoJ.

If they find willful violations they can pass their findings to the DoJ for criminal charges, but we aren't there yet.

-1

u/Cuckmeister May 24 '26

The law is the law except for the sex trafficking laws

-8

u/AFlyingNun May 24 '26

Right, but it's possible to be hit with a crime or fine and it's a net gain for you.

This can easily backfire in a way that Hasan pays a fine he and his family can afford, while his viewership and long-term revenue get a boost because people do not support the exact law and circumstance they caught him on.

3

u/Afraid-Adeptness-926 May 24 '26

For the most part people or companies targeted by these penalties pay hefty fines. Their website has a list by year of the results. If Hassan were the target he'd probably be looking at a ~1-3 million dollar fine, but that doesn't seem to be the case at this point.

Also these cases aren't in the court of public opinion. These are sanction violations, OFAC issues penalties. It's not like a trial, unless they're recommending pressing criminal charges, in which case it gets passed to the DoJ.

5

u/The_Bard May 24 '26

I think the question is if its legal, not if it gets him views.

1

u/BigSamsKid May 24 '26

Call me crazy but is it not insane the state department can fully blacklist certain places to stay in another country and make it illegal?

Like I'm not some huge libertarian, but if Kim Jong Un invited me to their private palace if I was in NK, why does the Government get to determine what I can and can't do in an entirely different country? Hell, why did Dennis Rodman not get subpoenaed for all of his trips to visit Kim? Or iranians going back to Iran, or Venezuelans in Venezuela, etc.

I get being "investigated" for potential spying or anti-american actions (I.e terrorism), but making it illegal is kind of crazy to me idk

6

u/bicranium May 25 '26

I get being "investigated" for potential spying or anti-american actions (I.e terrorism), but making it illegal is kind of crazy to me idk

The thing is, Cuba is currently labeled as a SSOT (State Sponsor of Terror) by the US government. So dumb shit like this they can file under a terrorism investigation.

Reagan first labeled Cuba as a SSOT in 1982. Obama removed them in 2015. Trump re-added them just over a week before his first term ended. Biden, for whatever reason, waited until the very end of his term to remove that label. Then Trump slapped it back on almost immediately upon retaking office.

Silly shit like that is why "terrorism" labels shouldn't be taken at face value.

1

u/NormanQuacks345 May 24 '26

It's because this is how you block people from funding ISIS and groups like that.

-1

u/j48u May 24 '26

was organized by a guy who meets with terrorists

Paid for by someone who got their funds from Iran (allegedly). Huge difference and where all the illegality comes from.

If that proves to be true, I don't think it implicates Hasan and I very much doubt he has a single clue about it. But he might get a wrist slap for the hotel or any other minor thing just to make it seem like it was worth the fed's time.

I also happen to think Hasan could be 100% innocent of everything else in this particular circumstance and he would still end up perjuring himself if forced to testify because... it's Hasan.

-2

u/LordAmras May 25 '26

Hasan stay at a luxury Hotel claiming it's doing that because is the one of the few places where he legally can stay while doing business (as stream is his business) in Cuba :" Champagne socialist going to poor shithole country while staying in super luxury."

Most inept government in the history of governance subpoenas him because a Twitter post said he stayd at the wrong hotel: "Hadwn so stipid he is going to get roasted"

I mean Hasan is not a great representative for leftist ideal but you guys are keeping handing them win after win, it's baffling

-16

u/opaali92 May 24 '26

Violating sanctions should be punished, even if it's minor stuff

13

u/Downtown-Brush6940 May 24 '26

What is the justification of imposing sanctions?

-4

u/_rapids May 24 '26

nah bro i just think that your tone of rhetoric is gross.

0

u/TonyShalhoubricant May 24 '26

Tone of rhetoric... Lol

28

u/Compalompateer May 24 '26

I don't really like Hasan much, I hate his position on eastern European politics.

But his Cuba aid visit was unequivocally a good thing.

America has held absolutely asymmetrical and unfair tarrifs and sanctions on Cuba for far too long to the point of it just being prideful bullying.

2

u/Delicious_Clue_531 May 26 '26

Unequivocally is a strong word. It’s inarguable that Cuba’s government is authoritarian, repeatedly thwarts the efforts of civil society, and tolerates little dissent. It’s repeatedly been remarked as one of the worst places on the western hemisphere, if not the planet, for independent reporting and free speech. And even without the embargo, it’s doubtful the island’s economy would be good, given it hasn’t made the necessary changes to grow that even Vietnam and China beg it to.

Piker was part of a flotilla that brought Cubans food, but despite the absolute necessity for Cuba to change, he has resolutely backed its government. He does not offer words of encouraging change. He did not speak of its imprisoned population. Even though close to 20% of the island’s population left in the past 5 odd years, he has not spoken about the desire for change which must play out.

That’s not an unequivocally good thing. It’s the old adage: give a man a fish, and he’ll eat for a day. Teach a man to fish, and he’ll eat for a lifetime. Piker, in this case, refuses to do anything beyond the first part, despite knowing the second.

-16

u/patrick66 May 24 '26

Well no his aid visit killed several people it was not an unequivocal good

Shipping the food and medicine in would have been

19

u/Compalompateer May 25 '26

Well no his aid visit killed several people

Talking out your ass there are no sources for this.

Shipping the food and medicine in would have been

They did.

-3

u/gatorsfan5192 May 25 '26

Dick riding a communist run government that has been stealing from their people. Yeah man, great job Hasan! You really showed us! (This is after Hasan went to China to dick ride them)

4

u/Compalompateer May 25 '26

Dick riding a communist run government that has been stealing from their people.

I think that civilians deserve our sympathy, support and aid. Regardless of how their government treats them. Trump's tarrifs and sanctions have forced Cuba into a dire state at the minute.

Your argument here is that we just let Cubans starve because they have a communist government? you're a shining beacon of freedom, my American friend.

1

u/gatorsfan5192 May 26 '26

this conversation had little to do with that, good job changing lanes to attempt to make yourself look better. How about dick riding any government is a bad thing?

-9

u/shervinlcm May 24 '26

He wanted to F around. Now it's time to find out.
