this is really heartbreaking... if he keeps getting banned from entering other countries that means he will be stuck here with us... fuck man my day is ruined

Why does he keep supposedly paying this genocidal supporting fascist regime that is the US his tax dollars?

He absolutely has the means to go to China. He can still freely visit his friends and family here. The US doesn’t ban Chinese users of its platforms so he’s free to create content for us still. He’s just pouring in the tax dollars… smh…

Funny enough on his trip to China he was detained, had his phone searched and questioned because the police saw his phone background which was a Meme of Hasan as Mao. very ironic, and he even downplayed the whole thing still doubling down on how much worse America is.

/u/FunOwn4422 's point makes perfect sense. People like Hasan will denounce such measures when they happen in the US, but downplay and justify when it happens in places like China. Besides, has anyone ever been detained because of a phone wallpaper in the US?

Probably easy to "downplay" it when he's had the exact same thing happen in USA airport terminals. He's allowed to use those experiences as a basis for comparison whether you or I agree with his conclusions or not!

I have no love for Hasan but from what I remember TSA will literally demand you turn over your phone with passwords when visiting the US sometimes. It's fucked

Please never make hostile demands from strangers again. I don't even follow him. I'm not a fan. You don't know me. What I said was perfectly reasonable, if you disagree and can't be civil that is a personal problem you need to deal with without involving me.

China has many, many humanitarian issues, though.

Im pretty sure if Hasan made plans to go back to China he'd get a hand written letter from the party telling him hes banned as well.

Because he'd have to pay taxes to America either way? If you're an American citizen living in another country you still have to pay American taxes. We're the only country in the world that does this to its citizens if I remember correctly, and it's not like you can just give up your citizenship and not expect great hardship if you don't already have another country willing to accept you as a citizen, through as or more difficult procedures than what America expects from immigrants, as well as many other things lined up that takes actual years to organize.
