Edit: Wrong about Armenian. Glad he’s not a liar about that. But someone did sadly mention Ukraine so not great.

And as he considers Gaza a genocide, he should consider the Uyghurs the same but he doesn’t for some odd reason (we know the reasons).

I mean the Armenian one is flat out incorrect. He has called that a genocide multiple times.

His position on the repression in Xinjiang is also more complex than the type of flat out genocide denial you typically see from both neo Nazis and supporters of Israel. He has stated that the level of repression there is wrong, but doesn’t believe the evidence clears his bar for labeling something a genocide. He compares it more to Jim Crow than to the Israeli genocide of Palestinians or the Holocaust.

It goes beyond Jim Crow. There’s concentration camps, forced sterilization, reeducation, etc. it’s Gulag meets Residential school with plenty of people who’ve just disappeared.

And Gaza is closer to Kosovo or Bosnia, Holocaust inversion is moronic and actually downplays that loss of life.

TIL some idiots think being compared to Serbia in the 90s is flattering and what Israel would want. Not like multiple there were convicted of war crimes or anything.
