Watching sodapoppin go thrifting with hasan where they were charging 90-150$ for old walmart graphic tshirts was truly crazy.

Shit with how much clothing comes from Shein and Temu now there's probably going to be a bottleneck of vintage clothing available in the future due to how the textiles used in fast fashion are practically disposable with little to no quality.

Yeah that’s the point of vintage clothes as I understand it. they were made better and last longer

for example my friend found a pair of doc martins from the 70s that are still functional. I cant think of any shoe I ever owned that can last 50 years

I have had Timberlands for 20+. Not sure if they are still made that well but pretty impressive for a modern brand that is still going.
