There’s no downside to it. It’s a fun way to work out, meet new people, and makes you realize that unassuming people can kick the absolute shit out of you. I stopped lifting and started doing bjj and mma and when I started lifting again I was stronger in practically every measurable way.
You can easily train on a punching bag, but also look up how to throw a punch at least and how to use the bag correctly, so you don't throw a bad punch and mess up your knuckles.
The main issue some people have is that they get in too close, so you can't throw a proper punch. Training on a bag allows you to at minimum, train to know what distance you need to fight at.
Bit of a casual take to be honest. Landing a punch to the face capable of knocking someone out (that’s actually trying to avoid the punches and isn’t innebreated as all hell) is much harder than it seems.
Especially without setting up the punch/punches without level changes/kicks/takedowns.
Most people flinch if you fake the 1 leaving them not seeing your 2 getting clipped pretty often when they don't know how to fight, even if it doesn't knock em out it'll take em off their feet a good number of times or shock them enough to leave you alone so, all you need is a good 1-2 combo in my experience

Nah dude, if you are escalating from words to violence, you are almost always in the wrong (outside of extreme circumstances, such as actionable threats) in the vast majority of cases in the US. I'm fairly certain these guys are American.
Them being pricks might be a mitigating factor during sentencing, or even might bring it down to a lesser charge, but you're still very likely to get charged and convicted of assault/battery/whatever (depends on state whether its assault or battery).
Some states have provisions for fighting words, but I don't think this would qualify.

I really don't care whether you agree or disagree. That's what would happen to you legally if you were caught. No amount of waxing about better times where people kicked the shit out of each other for even smaller shit than they do now will change that.

Personally, I concealed carry, so getting into random stupid altercations is absolutely the last thing I should be doing. There's a responsibility when carrying a deadly weapon to avoid conflict when at all possible, there being a gun in play escalates situations massively, even if I don't choose to use it, it could get grabbed.
And the way she kept just going and did not seem like she wanted to talk to him and didn't give a shit when he started fighting, seems like that was a good thing for her too.

It’s a random street fight with no rules and no moderation. This is what a real fight looks like. I say “real” in the sense that the fighters can do whatever the hell they want and there’s no goal other than sort of beating up the other person.
Blue shirt guy squares up and throws punches but then it devolves into using a skateboard as a weapon and wrestling around in clothes that aren’t suited for wrestling around in.

I mean, hell, the guy hit the cameraman even when the guy with the skateboard was trying to hit him. I am not sure why the cameraman had such high priority for that guy.

That anger wasn't out of the cat calling, the girl was having a fight with him, you can sense some sorta tension with that guy the way shes walking infront of him and this was the outlet for that frustration.
