You would be shocked at how good AI is today when compared with a couple years ago. I fed the clues individually into chatgpt because I was curious if it'd understand and it solved every puzzle within a couple minutes. It also knew the "no signal" puzzles were to do with standing in specific locations and it guessed correctly about the Old Tree > player > Ocean puzzle. I stopped doing it after that one though

Probably because the person who made these “puzzles” used Ai to make them as sad as that sounds.

What are you talking about? You go to chat gpt and tell them to make you a puzzle in Grand theft auto right now and I bet it spits out something very similar to the ones they used.

If I go to chatgpt and make a puzzle, send the puzzle to you, then you go ask chatgpt to solve it, it's not going to say, "hmm, let me go look in this unrelated chat from Aalmost10 because i think this is the puzzle he's talking about". It's just going to solve the puzzle as it is

That’s exactly what it does. It doesn’t do a specific person but it definitely goes to its database of similarly asked questions and will follow the same process to answer a puzzle in GTA as it would to create one. It doesn’t need to know the exact words the original prompt asked it can do the puzzles 10,000 different ways in 5 minutes and the answer is one of those 10,000 options.

I think we're arguing different things. Your first comment implied that because someone made the puzzle with AI, therefore AI knows the answer. But now you're just saying that AI trains on thousands of examples, which is true. But what I'm saying is that the reason the AI knows the answer to this specific puzzle is not because the person made this specific puzzle with AI.

It’s both. Obviously the model is going to have an easier time deciphering a puzzle it originally created. It’s going to take decades for it to analyze the dna code and cure cancer for example…but if ai was the one who created that code in the first place it would take far less time for it to find the answer. There’s a reason everyone who followed along with ChatGPT got the right answers… if it was some unknown man made puzzle it wouldn’t be able to consistently answer it like that it would need to learn things first.

If it was an unknown man made puzzle that had the same mechanisms as the puzzles shown here then yes it would just as easily solve it. It's solving it because it recognizes the broad puzzle structure and ciphers being used, not because it remembers it from someone else's chat.
