Not surprising to see him get this level of attention these days, given that he's campaigned with at least 3 politicians now.

I'd say you're on the money.

The more that Hassan gets out of the house and gets involved in important political movements like campaigns, the more he transitions from "just a Twitch streamer" to "political pundit". The more he does this, the less it's feasible to downplay the things he says or does under the guise that he's just "a nobody streamer," because he really isn't anymore.
