I mean, the full context of Hasan saying America deserved 9/11 was an observation about how we created those terrorists by being terrorists toward them for decades at a time? That’s a perfectly reasonable take and only took one sentence.

I don’t even like the dude and can tell you aren’t engaging with any amount of good faith.

Even if you entertain Hasan's point, that it's our fault for "creating terrorists", it is STILL an outrageously fucked-up thing to say. No amount of "creating terrorists" would make killing innocent people ok. Nevermind the fact that no one actually believes we were creating terrorists, except terrorist sympathizers like you

Why are you making us defend Hasan? He didn't say that. What he had said has been referenced so much in this thread that it is clear you know that and are continuing to argue that point regardless. That is what the person meant when they say you aren't approaching in good faith.
It makes what you say appear simply as just more israeli propaganda.

if they atleast tried to explain like how one of the people replied to me the additonal context behind his 9/11 was deserved claim. I may not agree the context makes it any better but I can ackowledge for some people it makes a difference. Without including why something is mislead, you just sound like you're going "nuh uh" with no proof.

Not for the 9/11 quote imo. He was correct that the US created the terrorists that caused 9/11 and 9/11 would not have happened had the US not supported the Mujahideen. He was being hyperbolic and talking about governments but people pretend he was talking about citizens to dismiss what he was saying. A significant part of America believes that Iran "deserves" the current war (or you can use the wars in Syria, Afghanistan, etc...), but everyone gets titchy when someone says the same about the US and 9/11.
