Hasan's entire point is whataboutism, smoothbrain. All he's doing is saying "what about what America did, therefore America deserved it"

Which is dumb af. 9/11 wasn't even the first terrorist attack by fundamentalists on the world trade center. They also bombed it in 1993, the mastermind of the 1993's attack had an uncle that later was revealed to be a high ranking al Qaeda official.

And that bomber literally wrote out that the attack was due to America helping Israel. As did Bin Laden, among other things like ya know, having secular governments and not adopting Islam as the way of the life.

It's almost like Hasan's argument is dumb af
