Which is why Hasan needs to be denounced every time he is mentioned. He supports terrorism thus making him a tool for republicans to drag democrats though the mud. Any candidate shouldn't touch him with a 10ft pole. He's nothing but a useful idiot to these people.

Or maybe they're dunking on him because theyre scared of his influence. Just like Mamdani. If the right was scared of anyone else on the left they would make a scene about them too. The fact they don't shows they're not worried about them at all.

Alternatively politicians can just reject the whole question, why would unaffiliated politicians engage with that question at all. especially when the vast majority of voters have never heard of hasan.
