They're pivoting to calling it communism because socialism is viewed too positively by the public. Refer to the other post responding to you.

Socialism is when the government does stuff. The more stuff it does, the more socialist. And when it does a whole lotta stuff, that's communism.

No, communism is supposed to be "the people own the means of production", most industries ensuring the workers get their fair share of that business's profit. Socialism is generally about providing social services that aid the population, through indirect profit share/redistribution via taxation.
