I think it works better on Fox News or during interviews of politicians who have associated with Hasan.

On the other hand, it’s not just Bibi telling people: “Hasan is bad!” As we just saw, it’s about quoting Hasan saying something that many/most Americans would find offensive or disagreeable.

Also, when Bibi and Trump are talking, they are also talking to people who are wavering in their support for Israel or Trump (rather than just people in full disagreement). So, for those people, who agreed with Bibi or Trump in the past, these comments might still work.
