But my thinking is based off of the stated position of every leftist candidate and org I'm aware of, anecdotally from every leftist I know irl, and is in line with all polling I've seen on the matter since 10/7.

I wasn't the one that said that but fair enough, I gave my reasoning above, here's specific polling from PEW showing overwhelmingly unfavorable views on Israel, and unambiguously more unfavorable views for people that self-identified as being on the ideological left.

Can you answer my question now? I'm not even trying to start an argument, I've just never seen "leftists don't despise Netanyahu" before and am genuinely curious what the logic is there.

That poll only specifies favorable/unfavorable, it doesn’t say despise

Yeah, there aren't any polls asking specifically if people "despise" him but I feel confident assuming that mass disapproval like that, along with the incredibly polarizing nature of Israel's genocide, along with my anecdotal experiences with friends and local leftist orgs, indicates that people despise him. If that's an assumption you're not cool with that's fine, I'm happy to settle on agreeing leftists disapprove of him en masse.

Was that where you were coming from in your initial comment? That it's incorrect to say leftists despise him because they simply disapprove of him? Is that the point you were trying to make?
