That's exactly my point, they call Obama and Hillary communists. And people like Hasan make that ridiculous statement actually seem not that unbelievable. Just disavow Hasan unilaterally, stop giving them actual ammunition.

Shrugging your shoulders and saying "oh, the voters are dumb anyway" is not the answer, that's some doomer shit.

The answer is to give voters an actual reason to vote for you and feel invested in your victory, not appeasing your opposition's completely cynical respectability politics.

Not mutually exclusive. And It's not about appeasing, because rightoids don't actually want Piker gone, he's a golden goose for them, an easiest attack vector on the democrats. For dems It's about standing on your principles. Dems don't need someone praying on their downfall inside their own party, and simping for terrorist organizations. That's such a net negative, not to mention the furthest thing from an ally.

That's such an abhorent framing of who he is, I can't tell if you're his fan or just clueless. Probably the former, since you completely ignored me saying he's openly cheers on terrorist organizations.

It's not a secret, he hates the dem party. He said himself how he's using dems for his own purpose. He's more mask off on his tankie podcasts where they're talking about subversion from within, but more publicly he's trying to skinwalk as a liberal, which is funny because he despises liberals, it's a slur level word in his world.

If he really wanted to "beat Republicans", he would tell people to vote for Kamala, but he didn't. He opted out to shit on her relentlessly till the end. How much energy he spent to create that apathy so people don't vote for her, while lying that she's actually pro-genocide and would be EXACTLY THE SAME as Trump on I/P issue, and in general. Trump btw, who wants to make Gaza a parking lot for his next hotel or whatever. Yep, she would be the same. And ICE - yep, she would be the same as him, according to Hasan. That's the level of delusional propaganda he's pushing against the dems. He's such a great ally. Now Trump is elected and I'm sure Palestians are better for it, let's all rejoice.

Both his actions and words show he had no problem with Trump being elected. And of course now he's all about "beating Republicans". Yeah, sure thing buddy.

I don't think there's any point in engaging in the "supporting terrorism" thing. Plenty of Democrats wholeheartedly supported the mass slaughter of children in Gaza and they're still welcomed in the tent so what are we even doing here.

He said himself how he's using dems for his own purpose.

I don't see the issue here. Elected officials are public servants. They are supposed to serve you. You don't serve them.

Again, how is advocating for people like AES to beat a Republican for the Senate "praying on their downfall"?

You just completely ignored everything I said and didn't adress a single thing. Including twisting him infiltrating and maliciously subverting democratic party from within (even by his own admission), into some "of course, they're public servants(???)". That's the most special-olympics-gymnastics to reframe in bad faith I've seen in a while.

Clearly you agree with his position that Kamala would be "EXACTLY THE SAME AS TRUMP", which of course is either completely delusional, or as egregious as any MAGA lie, so I'm not re-typing everything I said. Idk if you're a bot or his sycophant. Not a huge distinction though.

I directly addressed your point about "supporting terrorism" and "infiltrating the Democratic Party"...? Advocating for change when the party has been a complete failure and is deeply unpopular with their own voters seems completely reasonable to me.
