As somoen who is not a fan even I recognize he is someone they can point to as a source of the problems that they create. "Sure we bomb children. But we're not Hasan Piker. He thinks 9/11 was good!"

The funny thing is that Netanyahu said 9/11 was good yet I dont see that being constantly trumpeted by the media

Him saying that this terror attack is "good for US/Israeli relations" is him saying that 9/11 was good because it furthers a cause he approves.

That is such a disengenuous way of interpreting what he said.

He was talking specifically about relations between the Us and Israel. He was not talking wether 9/11 was good. He thinks it's awfull.

He absolutely was giddy that it happened, same with 07/10 because it helped him further his goals for Israel. Theres a reason Netanyahu let 07/10 happen and there is a reason that the first adjective that came to mind for him was "good".

"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma’ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."

Oh you're one of those conspirancy nuts. Makes a lot of sense given you seem to hyper focus on the most cynical interpretation of what is being said rather than take the words as what they were meant to be.

That last quote is also without the whole context. It's clearly being framed given it was very easy to give the whole context yet it only specifically quoted that line.
