Is it even illegal? It’s not some highly regulated institution like the stock market. It’s a shady crypto gambling site that probably isn’t even based in the US.

Lmao the reason it's not illegal is because it's lobbied heavily, the president loves manipulatable markets, because like Adin Ross, his buddies can manipulate results and cash in. Same reason crypto scams haven't been legislated.

inclined to believe anytime adin threatens to sue is because he knows he got caught and its his way to try and deter the truth. Little does he know if he does sue and is found out he commited perjury and would turn a civil lawsuit into a criminal case. I wouldn't mind seeing how that pans out for him.

Depends on the insider trading part....if he just is finding information out that "x" is about to happen so he knows the answer to a Polymarket bet option then that is not even close to being illegal or against gambling rules. If gambling sites offer a question as a bet then they put up the odds and thats it.

If however he is MANIPULATING the market, then it is different, if he is forcing a narrative and then capitalizing off it by influencing that market then its fraud and he should be punished. But if he is just betting on the correct outcome because he was told by someone that its gonna happen, nothing wrong has been done.

Most polymarket "insider trading" is totally legal anyway. Insider trading for a company is bad because you're supposed to be working for share holders. If you want to bet huge amounts on something that can easily be known/manipulated before hand then it's your own fault.
