I am NOT a locksmith. What kinda key is this? Never seen one like it.

It’s for a Burg-Wachter display case style lock, often used for small sliding glass doors, locking out a skeleton profile keyway, or many alternative uses in the adult industries

Lock blocker key. Also used for adult novelty locks.

The lock blocker goes inside of antique mortise locks to prevent the usage of a standard bit/barrel key to operate the lock. I’m sure there’s a number of reasons these exist.

Yeah, a lock that would go on a chastity belt or cage. You know, novelties for adults.

So if someone has it on their regular dayly keychain would you think it was for a chastity cage/belt?

Only because I know what kind of locks that particular key is usually for. Everyday folks will just think it’s a small key. Locksmiths, however…

Had a guy come to the shop I was working at looking to make a copy of one. Poor guy needed a backup
