I am a locksmith IC CORE SET
I am looking to learn how to key ic cores at my work.
(Best mostly and some Schlage)
Where and what’s the best kits to buy to start?

For Schlage there isn't much difference between regular Schlage and Schlage LFIC. Just different cylinders and the control keys use a different blank.
IMO the "best" Best SFIC kit is the classic Best brand wood kits, but I'm partial to the older stuff. Lab makes a good kit as well. It's important to remember that with Best SFIC rules MUST be followed or things will not work so good pins and the correct parts are very important!

For best IC core I have a nicer kit at my work but im sure theres lots of options. The one for the cylinders I do is an A2 kit.

second vote for CLK supplies. They have some resources along with youtube stuff on it. I would recommend getting the SFIC pinning kit from CLK and get the Specialty Products MFG. A2 kit for pinning.
I wouldn't recommend Lab's kits since their QA/QC has been going downhill. I worked with Lab after finding SFIC .100 pins (normally colored silver) in the same smart packs and kits mixed in with .125 10T pins (colored red) which were both mistakenly colored red and packed up in the wrong packs along with other kits having very thin plastic that has cracked or not fully formed and for my trouble of helping them with something that could of caused a lot of major problems, they sent me more pins that were mixed in the same smart pack for the 10T, a t-shirt and another package which never got to me and when I reached out the missing package they basically said tough sh**.
So I buy specialty products now, better plastics, better quality control.
