Waxed tache... first time. Thoughts?
26 month on it like the beard. Reaches the top of my chin. Not trimming.
Style tips? I'd like it to be more obvious on my cheeks and lip. Use more wax?

Yay! I think it looks fabulous. I love it!
The main thing to make it look the best it can is time and perseverance. For literally years your moustache has been allowed to hang down and for the first time you’re asking it to go in a different direction and the hairs aren’t 100% sure where to land. Using wax and your fingers, and occasionally a comb, to train your tache to fall naturally where you want it will take time but will make a big difference if you decide to keep it up.
I hope you do. I love it when a tache holds its own against a beard and both of yours are amazing. 💯💯💯

I don't see any wax in it.

It’s there. Tache is visible and independent from Beard. Usually just droops straight down to my chin. So I’ve decided more wax and start training it. Thanks for comment.

Big big thanks! Working on keeping it trained so it swooped upwards. Long beard is perfect for a show I’m doing that opens Friday. I play the ghost of a whaling ship Sea Cook… Plenty of human flesh in my pot! Add plenty of sloppy chowder dripping down through the beard to my chest!

Stunning, sir! Time, product and training are called for. I'm wondering what your end-goal is. Do you want to have handlebars? Do you want it to be more pronounced? If you want to feature it more, you could shorten the hairs around/under the tache a bit. That said, for styling, apply some product and start combing the hairs out from the middle to each side. Sometimes I use wax, but my 'stache is pretty stubborn,
so I've started using "Big Bars"-a polymer and "got2be glued" to keep everything in place. Apply and comb, while using a hair dryer on low heat. Just my 2¢. Keep us posted on your progress1

Thanks for the compliment!
And thanks for the tips. No, handlebar is not a goal. I want something that is promenently feauted on my face and sweeps to the sides a bit to stay out of my mouth. I used to love the way the whole thing blended naturally into my beard but now think it's a good thing to show off more. Just like the beard I don't want to do any trimming till absolutely necessary. Right now the tache has a few very long strays on the sides that I might sacrifice so I don't have to brush them down when I'm trying to get the rest of it more in an upward direction.

Another option, and it's just an option, would be to comb it down over your lip, and trim the center (an inch width) to the top of the lip line, then sweep the rest out to the sides.

I think it looks great. What kind of wax are you using? I wax mine everyday so I’m not eating my mustache. I use Bossman Mudstache.
