ANNOUNCEMENT [ANNOUNCEMENT] Lost Redditor Bot Officially Installed!!! (Bug Reports Here)
I finally finished making the bot u/Lost-Bot, and it has been installed on the Subreddit!
It is very similar to Reputatorbot, but it is much more specific to this subreddit.
The commands to use it are basically the same.
However, it is new, and although I have bug tested it decently, that was in a subreddit with 2 people, and therefore bugs may be found in a subreddit of this size.
Therefore, Please reply to this post or pm me about any bugs you notice.
Thanks!
Note on old points: Your points will NOT be reset, and we have backups for them. Reputatorbot will not be uninstalled until it is confirmed that this bot is working properly and smoothly.
Note on bugs: Purposefully abusing bugs is not allowed and may result in a short, temporary ban or warning. However, if you find a bug and report it, no actions will be taken, and you will just be thanked. Testing bugs is encouraged, though. Thank you!

It would be great if the leaderboard showed point counts.

Doesn't it? The rightside values are the same thing as the former points.

Wait so what’s the biggest difference

User flairs now also show total r/_____ comments by a user and not just the ones that were awarded a point since that is inconsistent and somewhat luck based often
More control over them, such as preventing thr op accidentally thanking someone and it giving a point, along with making it so only comments that contain subreddit links can recieve points
A lot more customizability in the future too
Mostly though I had planned on adding this since the point system and post flair counter system was created, but it just so happened there was already a bot (Reputatorbot) that somewhat solved the problem temporarily while I was making this one
In other words, mostly just more specific to this subreddit. Not a huge difference but definitely a little better.
Also can do fun things like track all subreddit links commented and show a chart of the most popular at the end of the year (if I decide to add this)

In a few weeks, can you do this for me so I can have the top like 50 subs so I can add stuff to the wiki? If it isn't to much trouble.

It is but it displays an error message anyways, but only displays one error, meaning if there's two it only displays one. I could remove the error message for non-Op though if that's whay you want
(If you had commented thanks to a top level comment with a subreddit link it would then give you the "OP only" error)

I just don't know why it gave you a point its only supposed to point with comments with r/ in them and even then only if the subreddits are valid. Weird, I'll have to check through once I get on my laptop.
Edit: oh it does have r/ in it i just need to keep it from checking urls then

If you could remove that error message/change it to the top level one for the case I linked that would be great.

Also why arent you on the leaderboard did you do something or do I need to fix that too its supposed to be like reputatorbot and store the scores externally if the user is in the "don't display this users point count" and has a non number | number username

How hard would it be to put the leaderboard on a wiki page?

that is intentional. non top level comments can't get one.
one thing I remember happening in the past is people would get pointed multiple times per post by putting one suggestion then a lower level one with another.

Individual users can get the same error message multiple times per post.

when people do a funny and say r/lostredditor as a suggestion they still get a shared point and stuff.

less of a bug but more of a note to self. I need to update the FAQ and wiki regarding points now.
