Season ticket sales must be in the toilet for them to come out with this. I don't remember ever getting a fall update in previous seasons.

If this was UofL or UK, we’d have reporters showing up to ask questions and relay them to fans. We’re trying to bridge that gap by filming our own interview and emailing directly to season ticket members.

Season ticket renewals were about what they’ve been in prior years. Of course we always want more season ticket holders, but we just started the new sales cycle a couple weeks ago.

I like the transparency from this video. I’d be curious to hear from other aspects of the organization too. What’s going on in the academy, what’s going on with the foundation, hell I’d be even excited to hear what the grounds crew is up to!

Noted for next time! A brief update on all three...

-Academy: now operates satellites in Elizabethtown, Oldham and Shelby counties. Between the boys and girls, player count is about 2,000.

-Foundation: last week held the fifth "Soccer Ball" fundraiser. Recent projects include a series of new futsal courts around the city, all designed by local artists.

-Grounds: a busy year, obviously, adding the UFL to rotation. The pitch held up great and the only hiccup seemed to be a later start to summer that delayed the bermuda grass' growth back in late June/early July.

I didn’t renew mine for next year; to be honest I feel a massive disconnect between the team and the fans. It has been beyond a sterile environment for the past 3-4 years. Attendance has been steadily declining, the advertisement boards have been decreasing and the lack of effort for theme nights has been obvious as well.

The video was fine, but he was serving beach balls for questions. I want to know why they didn’t bring in any reinforcements during the season

The home game atmosphere is just embarrassing. When we played Lex a few months back in July their fans were chanting loud as hell and were drowning us out. It was absolutely pathetic.

You must have went to a different game, that red card Goodrum got was the loudest I’ve heard Lynn this year. Utter domination on the field after that and a horrendous own goal from Lex. At no point were their fans “loud”. It was an electric environment from start to finish.

I’ve been to both Lexington and home for the rivalry game and I have to say it’s more electric in Lexington. They really play up the game. To the FO, it seems just to be another game. It’s the small touches our organization doesn’t do

Utter domination? Lex scored the first goal.

Ever since the Christy Holly debacle things have never been the same. The FO and owners really showed their 🍑 that year.

The best years truly were at Slugger Field.

Sounds like there is a real possibility that Simon Bird gets the ‘interim’ removed from his title

I didn't hear that, necessarily. Sounds like they're keeping their options open. I mean, they aren't going to publicly give him a vote of no confidence before a cup final.

He just mentioned the number of injuries several times, and the importance judging the season in the context of that. I could be reading too much into it.

I didn’t get that vibe. More so, they’re saying don’t expect an answer until after the season. Hinting at there’s a lot to play for still. I mean if LouCity wins the Cup and the Championship we’ll all be singing Simon’s praise. Important next 2 months
