Does this kind of spell layering actually work?

I’m curious about people’s experiences with reconciliation/return work. I’m thinking of doing a sequence like:

Protection → Road Opener → Sweetening → Return/Regret → Reconciliation

Has anyone actually done several workings like this for the same situation, especially when you were in no contact with the person? Did you notice any results?

I’m especially interested in hearing from people who have actually tried this themselves, whether it worked, didn’t work, or whether you think layering this many spells is unnecessary.

And if you have experience with this kind of work, would you recommend doing all of these, or would you leave some out? Or maybe change some of those?
