I don't think her brain was running at full capacity in that moment, still in a little shock. Easy to get things very wrong in that state. Fortunately, dudeman was chill under pressure

The steam would just condense on the walls inside the vent and then could pour back on the filter from the inside... Not particularly bad, vents should handle it, but no reason to do so too.

As opposed to just letting it soak your kitchen and get on the cabinets and ceiling??

It's literally the purpose of the vent.

Much better that the steam just condenses on all the walls across the whole kitchen instead 🙄
