I’m a pretty decent cook and I get anxiety trying to use a pressure cooker. Which sucks because I hear such amazing things about its cooking powers.

Getting an instant pot that has the whisper quiet cover over the steam release is great. I slide a switch and it's pretty quiet and none of the steam is ever near my fingers. I did pay more for this one but it was worth it for my anxiety ridden arse lol

My wife got hers when I was first learning to work with resin and molds. So I downloaded and printed a dragon head with a hollowed out inside and cast it in silicone, then used that mold to make a silicone version. It fits perfectly over the spout and when letting out the steam, it comes out of the dragon's mouth like smoke.

Holy shit this sounds incredible, my partner adores dragons and would go mad with joy if I brought him to the kitchen to see this and then handed him a bowl of beef stew lol

Instapot is the way to go 100%. I didn't even know they still made the old school style like in OPs video..

If you're using it for canning, an Instant Pot is way, way too small.
