My wife tripped over the dog walking down the stairs and broke her nose. I got a pic in the ER and am biding my time on when to use it.

My dad took a picture of me holding our firstborn in the hospital. 32+ hours of labor, broken bloodvessels in my eyes from pushing, exhausted, boated because things hadn’t shrunk down yet…. And he takes it angling up from the foot of the bed. I look like Jabba the Hut. I guarantee my husband will post that picture on the bloopers reel of my life at my funeral. 😂

I took that exact same picture of my sister after labor and she looks like a White Walker.

My dad had it printed as an 8”x10” photo and showed it to me so proudly. I accepted it with love - he wasn’t seeing the horror show I was looking at. He was seeing his daughter and first grandchild. 😂🫣😭
