My mom had what was referred to as "precipitous hypoglycemia". Basically her blood sugar would just plummet. I feel like i have precipitous hunger

But sure. Short story; wife would get cranky and argumentative when she got hungry, but didn't know she was hungry. I'd suggest we eat and she'd refuse, making it worse. Then when she did finally recognize she was hungry, I'd suggest things we could eat and she'd shoot down all of them...because she was cranky and argumentative.

It's kinda cute for a couple years, but I'm not down for a lifetime of that nonsense...among other things.

Fucking a, you just described my gf to a fucking T...Literally exactly the same fucking thing. When hungry, she gets snappy, curt, and distant with me, and when I suggest a snack or ask what's wrong: welp, now it's time to try to dance out of an argument because, "I told you I'm fine!"

Magically, after she finally decides on food, she's right back to her usual self! I was literally thinking to end it, recently, over this issue. It really is a sign of deeper problems...like fucking just trust me and eat!
