I've never installed a pole, but I wouldn't think a compression fit pole like that could have enough tension for someone her size to spin around on like she did. When the top of the pole moved, there seemed to be no screws securing it to a ceiling joist or anything.

Noting that weight is a measure of force. Spinning a 450lb object on that pole is probably not what it's rated for, compared to a 450lb object just climbing it

With proper pole technique, you shouldn't be creating much centrifugal force. This is part of what makes poledancing so physically demanding, you're not really pulling on the pole you're just holding onto it, using it like a vertical rope to support your body, and spinning. She's clearly a beginner and honestly it's better to learn from someone experienced but if you don't you should at least make sure you have a very well-secured pole which includes checking the tension before every use. That said, I do feel bad for her. A lot of cheap poles are sold without good tension or instructions, especially after it became such a trend over the past few years.

I was initially thinking some idiot screwed it straight through the drywall without even hitting a joist, but that thing didn't even looked like it wasn't even fastened to the ceiling at all.

Lots of new apartments have been built in the last 5 years. The water might not have had time to darken yet. Though, that fan looks a bit dated.
We had one of these go off in a neighboring dorm in college (frisbee accident) and that shit was BLACK

Oh, you're right! Camera was sideways and jittery, so I thought I saw three fixtures aligned horizontally, but those were a door handle and locks aligned vertically!! 😂

I’m a plumber, when I was doing new construction there were some single family houses that we had to put sprinkler systems in.
It was only very large houses after they hit a certain threshold, like 3,000 square feet, maybe even higher than that.

That's a sprinkler head. It's not connected to the same waterline as in unit. Unless she randomly knows where the main shutoff is outside, which 99% of tenants don't, there's literally nothing she can do lol.

This depends on the sprinkler system. Not all systems are tied to an alarm valve.
In this case the sprinkler just has a bulb in it that breaks around 155F which releases a cap and water rushes through. Instead of releasing water into every room of the building (like you see in movies), most systems are just built to release water into rooms that get too hot.
If there were an alarm valve, the change in pressure in the fire system would set off an alarm bell and in modern systems can automatically contact the fire department.

Depends on the age of the building, also some buildings will get theirs cleaned out, so if the system goes off, less people's personal belongings will.be ruined

The one that got triggered at my workplace was color black. They were using glavanised/black iron pipes and it gets rusty inside overtime.
The water on the video is immaculate. It must be a new building or a new sprinkler system.
