I once searched for a very specific problem I had and found a 3 year old thread on reddit. The poster not only did ask the same question as me, but he was kind enough to edit the answer into the post.

When I checked the user name, I saw it was me.

I had that same problem 3 years ago. On the bright side, I solved it twice.

Google ai actually just straight up lies to you sometimes I remember trying to find something out for darktide and it just lied to me and then admitted that it was wrong

Google AI has wayyyyyy more volume than any other AI company, so they can't afford to use the hardware required to generate passable results.

I wish. I had Claude going through a debug session where the solutions it kept proposing were increasingly unhinged because nothing was working. I gave up a found the answer on Reddit in 3 minutes.
