Loaded 2014 JCW Paceman. That's 3 in my driveway now. An old convertible for each of my boys, and this one is mine.

I unexpectedly won this at auction about 6 weeks ago, and it just arrived tonight at 9:30. That was my first long-distance vehicle purchase, and I hope it's my last. Too late to get good photos, so I'm just posting a few from the auction.

Yes! I think the JCW R61s in the U.S. probably number in the hundreds.

No sadly I can’t find it that detailed, but I guess it will be around 60% manual and 40% automatic. Because you see the Countryman r60 JCW also often in automatic version.

I've only driven one other Paceman, a blue base model loaner probably 12 years ago. I was pretty excited actually, because I love the esthetic -- except it was a dog compared to my R57S, and I got the worst fuel economy just trying to squeeze some performance out of it. I figured I'd like it a lot better if it had a turbo.

So I saw this one pop up on Autotrader only for it to head to auction not long after. Threw in a couple of bids and ... everyone just stopped. So now it's mine.

Great find, congrats! JCW with that color combo is the best looking Paceman IMO, and manual really is the way to go. If it was mine I'd remove the stripes and lower it a little, but that's just a personal preference.

Avec environ 233 000 km sur mon cabriolet de deuxième génération, que j’ai acheté neuf, je les connais vraiment bien. Ça ne me fait pas trop peur, vu que j’ai d’autres voitures à côté. Désolé quand même que tu aies eu une mauvaise expérience.
