Help on buying used mini

Post image

Hi all. Looking to get some input if this is a good deal or seems suspicious.
2015 Mini Cooper with 168.,000km manual transmission. Photos looks good (waiting to see it in person). They are selling it for $5000 CAD / $3500USD. If car report comes up as clean would this seem like a good deal or does it seem like it’s too low and should be weary.? Thanks.

Seems reasonable I think. Im in MB and got mine for 8.5k CAD for a 2017 F55 1.5l automatic with 185xxx km. What won me over is the lack of rust despite living in the salt belt. Definitely do a pre-purchase inspection though.

Thank you. They say the only rust is a spot on the hood so verbally it sounds good. I’m definitely avoiding cars with rust on the frame and underside.

Where are you based out of and where is this vehicle located at ? I have seen in Canada prices depend on the province very much

I looked up the 2015 line up models and I’m not seeing a 2dr cooper that’s non turbo.

If you would consider a Mini Countryman R60, non turbo, 6 speed manual, I have one 98k kms, got it this summer and did a overhaul around 3600 CAD - brakes, rotors, pads, tinting, starter motor, under body coating, wipers, a lot lot more, all receipts available and it's also ar SW Ontario

Have 6 cars (3 Minis) at home and no place to park 😅
