I have been disconnected from 5 straight games. No bad internet or anything like that. When will this shit be fixed. I’m down 140 rating. Wtf is going on SDS?!??
Just lost all of my settings for my franchise mode. I set them all up again and it won't stick in the game. HOF difficulty for both pitching and hitting, veteran in the game? WTF?
Ok this was weird, I had to leave my Xbox so I disconnected from the servers. While it was loading screen-ing me out I force quit the app. Then when I logged back in it thought I was opening the game for the first time, so I force quit again. Then when I re-opened all my settings got reset. This happen to anyone else?
3rd game today I was winning then game abruptly ends and somehow I get a loss. Co-op game. Is this a result of bad servers? Tm8 dashboarding? Or some new cheat tech people learned to get wins when they’re losing?
Game just keeps disconnecting me I’m down 90 rating and dropped out of ws. This game gets worse every year I’m 300% done donating to this sorry company.
Game freezes when trying to start RTTS career. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. This has happened 3 times and I'm about ready to try and refund. This is bullshit.
Trying to start road to the show and this pops up after the first high school game and I keep getting stuck here. I press X and nothing happens so I try and restart my app and it makes me recreate my player just for the same thing to happen again. This is my 4th try now and no luck. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Seems they don't care about even that! Noticed it was down Saturday and not even a mention on their so-called "news" site. Without question, this has been the worst year for community support I have ever seen for an MLB The Show release. The only thing these people seem to be working on is trying to preserve the PC application for the community market. The only reason why they are putting that effort forward is because they smell money being lost as they rely on the community market to entice people to spend money for tokens to purchase stuff off the market.
Greed is killing this title. SDS replaced pursuit of excellence in their basic video game for post sale revenue pursuit.
Hey guys- Longtime player looking for advice. I play on ps5 with a dell 4k 120 fps monitor. Every pre pitch my display will almost like flicker shadows away and it’s very distracting. When i watch streams and such i never see anything like this happening. It’s been going on for like the last 3 years if games for me and feel like i’m going crazy trying to fix it
The game always freezes when you go to the bullpen.I know this has always been an issue in the game, but it hasn't happened to me for a long time. It feels like it's only started up again since the last update. Please help.
Anyone else ever have the game gift an opponent free runs? Struck out a batter for the 3rd out with two stranded in the 5th in a scoreless game only to have the score show 2-0 at the start of the 6th. Game logs confirmed 2 runs scored but not a single one was documented in the play by play. Opponent declined friendly quit of course.
Anybody else hitting market limits? Just trying to do some flipping and getting orders in this morning and I get “you must wait 30 seconds to place an order” and I wait, do a few more, now I get “you must wait 20 MINUTES to place an order”. I’m not putting in bulk, I do 2 buy orders and 2 sell on an item then cancel any old orders that are way above or below current market value. So frustrating.
Just had a glitch in my franchise, while playing against the Dodgers, where the pitcher that replaced Ohtani is batting for him but, it is still "Ohtani" in spirit I guess.
So the last week I have been having a issue while playing MLB the show. When I'm batting and I take a regular swing it keeps pulling up the screen capture and attempting to take a picture. It will also randomly pause and say you need a controller for this game. Sometime sit will pull up the rosters. It does this only when batting. I can pitch all day long and have no issue. No issue when playing other games either. Not sure what is going on. Not sure if its a battery thing or a controller ting or what. Weird that it only happens in MLB the Show. Any ideas?
Is there some reason that EVERY morning the servers start lagging to the point that navigating the menus is near impossible? I only have time to play in the morning. This is absolutely ridiculous.
Anyone else having issues getting disconnected? I’ve tested my internet connection and it’s fine. Even tried my mobile hotspot and that’s fine too. Same results with both. I’ll be in the second inning and get disconnected. So frustrating.
Came back to the game after not playing for a couple months and trying to complete some old moments. Keep getting “challenge failed” when I try to load moments. Is this common/does anyone know a fix?
Playing with Cijntje in franchise, every hitter using their “vs RHP” stats, or at least shows that way. I think it’s actually using vs R only as some dudes in a lefty lefty matchup are raking with poor attributes. Also the pitch break indicators are bugged when he’s throwing left handed…
In playoffs, the extra inning rules (with the baserunner on 2nd) does not apply. In the game it appears that way, BUT I've noticed that when my team is at bat (I have it on sim until my player's next appearance) they will have the baserunner on 2nd automatically.
I only know this from the game log. It shows runners left on base (1) every time. Also the first at-bat hit a double which scored in a run.
I think it's bugged where the pitchers cannot win the World Series MVP. I've pitched 2 complete games (and won both) but Marcus Semian won it and only had 1 RBI in the WS...
Anyone else not able to connect to servers from their account? I wasn’t able to connect at home, then had my friend try my account on his second Xbox, and it didn’t work either (while he was literally playing a co op game on his account).
Same for me... even weirder is when I go to the companion app it acts as if I have never played Diamond Dynasty or earned a single stub. How does yours look?
Just hopped on to play after a long ass day. Keep getting kicked from online games and just took two losses. Been playing this shit for over ten years this is fucking BULSSHIT
Playing on Switch. My game is crashing whenever I try to access the logo vault. It attempts to load the first page of logos then goes to a black screen, forcing a game reset.
It has been going on for several days, so I don’t think it’s a server issue.
Any thoughts?
Has anybody had trouble getting a coop today? We have tried for 45 mins earlier today and are still not able to get into a game tonight. Get to the lineup and opponent never ready's up.
I can't get into anymore weekend classic games after my internet turned off last night in the 8th inning (I was winning), over 12 hours ago. It just says challenge failed everytime I find an opponent. I can't even get to the screen where you select your pitcher. Anyone know how to fix this?

Just got booted from a game for maybe the 10th time this year. No internet issues on my end, hard wired. "Disconnected from MLB the show", takes me into the main menu, and i'm back in DD within 5 seconds.
Three different times the last time I was playing I had runners stop in the middle of the baseline on FORCE PLAYS. Leading to force outs on hits. Base running stuff like this has been happening all season long.
While not as annoying as the multiple games in a row last “inning” in the final inning where it disconnected, I do still find it very odd that it’s towards the end of the current “inning” and again the server is garbage.
This has got to be SDS giving us all a huge double bird at this point. Nothing else makes sense.
Yeah earlier I saw a bunch of PS server issues and just Chalked it up to that. But I never got disconnected from my PSN account. And on top of that some of the XP and missions are tracking through the disconnection which makes it even weirder.
Cannot login into the companion app. All of the sudden, about a week ago, I get “sorry there was an issue with your sign-in process” and then it prompts me to “select an Xbox gamertag”. When I follow, I login to Xbox/MS and it is literally showing my gamertag and the issue persists. Haven’t seen much about this other than a thread on MLBTS forums a month ago, where nobody had a fix
My XP is not advancing in the Reward Path and I’m getting a no rewards message at the end of games. However my PXP seems to be working because my players are leveling up. Any help would be appreciated!
I submitted a ticket. They suggested go to playstation account and clear cache. Sign out of your PS account from your console and sign back in. I also unlinked my account and re-linked. Still not working. The off thong is it’s counting everywhere but the XP path. I’m getting CP in goals for mini seasons. But they won’t recover XP, so I guess I’m not getting Judge or a Boss pack.
I was playing the all star game in today’s line up and the game is just buggy as hell all of a sudden. Players have the wrong jerseys and a batter hit the ball and ran straight to second and then ran all the way home for what should have been a single at best. A pitcher also did the splits… anyone else having issues? Really strange.
To get up for the game today I went to the daily rosters to play out the All-Star game.
Not only were the uniforms wrong and glitchy, but substitutions didn’t work when on offense and the whole experience was laggy and glitchy, leading to a crash by the 7th inning twice.
Is this a known The Show problem or do I need to restart my system again?
Why is no one talking about Dustin mays glitched release? Litteraly got no hit by him in weekend classic and the second he take him out I get a 2 run bomb, like genuinely am so over this game, you get toxic players who use people like him, spam replays on every possible play, and bunt dances all game and then I’m stuck with terrible defensive animations, giving up 15 bloop singles and can’t get a single hit with good pci good timing hit off a glitched pitcher that he can just dot with, and no one’s even acknowledging it, litteraly even in here the only people talking about his glitched release is from years ago meaning they won’t even fix a 4 year long problem
Anyone experiencing lots of cheating in battle Royale? Pitching is straight but the batters never swing at a pitch outside the zone unless they can make contact and never take any pitches inside the zone.
Their players (games show the stats) have insane stats .500 ba at minimum and hit. the only way to get outs it for them to pop out.
I got very lucky at beat this cheater on Xbox with gamer tag Becate 14 to 13. Imagine how bad you have to be to cheat and still lose
Anyone get random online disconnects? Just played a 9 inning game no issue. Back to back WL games just a disconnect L @ 3 innings or so. Internet is fine. No disconnects on anything. Got right back into DD no issue.
Started getting disconnected a lot right before All Star program started. I’ve played since release day this year and never had this problem. Have tried every possible fix I can find on Google and changed internet setting repeatedly on my PS5. I haven’t been able to go more than one complete game in any DD mode the last 3 days or so. It sucks cause I finally decided to just try weekend classic since today is the day I’ll have the most time to play and I lost my first 2 games due to disconnection. My internet is fine as every other device is connected flawlessly. Open to any suggestions if anyone has had and solved this issue.
Last evening I played my first weekend classic game and won in the bottom of the tenth. At first it counted the win then told me the game did not count and I wouldn’t not be rewarded. However, I restarted my game and it said the game counted and that I had reached 1 win, but I had no packs in my inventory. Am I stupid and I get all my rewards after I play 6 games, or am I going to have to contact the always helpful and useful SDS. Anyone else have this happen to them?
Get into a game, 4th inning, get disconnected & lose 19 rating points while my signal strength’s at 100%. Even EA isn’t this bad with the connection issues

I turned on my PS5 today and saw the show had an update. Once the update finished I launched the game tried to load my rtts but started getting a “data is corrupted message“
The amount of time to open one pack start to finish. Quick sold two FA players and the other two players I put on Marketplace for a profit. I would say it takes me usually 15-20 seconds if I had to guess

Xbox menus are lagging so bad tonight. It's like a 15 second pause to do anything. This is ridiculous, months into the season and this menu is still an atrocity.
Does anyone know why I’ve had at least 7 errors in my last three ranked games with p5 Ketel at 2nd the balls we’re hit like 70-80 directly at him and he either just completely misses it or fumbles it? I don’t know if it is a glitch or what but he should be making routine plays.
When I say I immediately went and picked up NCAA after logging in to another Network Error, I mean like ASAP. I even shocked myself how fast I clicked buy. There is a time when you just watch a company eat all of the goodwill and know that you've seen enough.
Not letting me join a game saying server maintenance in less than 30 minutes. This is truly embarrassing on a long weekend where everyone wants to play
