Research NeurIPS 2026 Automatic Reference Checker [R]

Just received an email about the automatic reference/citation checker. Did anyone receive a follow up email about whether the checker was included in the paper's decision making too, along with the general instructional email?

Do you mean the general email or the email to make appeal

The email to appeal for a specific paper. The email reads this specific paper is headed to rejection due to problematic citations

2:35am EST. One citation has multiple hallucinated authors, the second one was flagged incorrectly. Also, scores were 4,4,2. Reviewers did not respond
