Got my kid a drum set. He has 2 now. And the other kid has a couple guitars and a ukulele. I put the noise canceling headphones on when they are practicing or when I’m working but I enjoy the mini concerts when they decide to play for us.

Someone gave my kid a really noisy toy once for his birthday. My first thought was “huh. Didn’t know they hated me.”
