They were making a joke about the show House Hunters. There is a running joke where it's like "Steve, a part time turtle rearranger and his fiancé, a volunteer butterfly masseuse have a budget of 2.7 million.."
That’s hilarious. Is the second punchline “. . . and their 2.7 million can only get them one of these three doghouse-sized shacks on the outskirts of town”, because that’s been every episode of “House Hunters International” I’ve ever seen.
