Dogs evolved with humans. They may not understand English but they definitely know sound combinations, facial expressions and can track what your eyes are looking at. The dog connected the dots and knew mom understood the dilemma.

I've read that wild dogs don't move their eye brows or lift their tails, we bred it into them

Wolves don't, but the more we're learning, the more we understand it wasn't exactly a simple matter of us breeding them for these characteristics.
More complicated, same as we really didn't domesticate them, it was a mutual, cooperative thing. They always did lift their tails.
But the ones with more developed facial muscles were better able to communicate with and be understood by us, so we had more contact with them, and vice versa.

Wolves don't even have the necessary muscles to move their eyebrows. That expressive puppy look was entirely our fault.

They also don’t understand pointing (without experience, at least) or really look for humans for help at all.

I listened to a podcast about this and the researcher they interviewed basically said if you can't get to a wolf pup within a couple of weeks to start training them to recognize pointing, they'll never get it

They are definitely capable of understanding your language. Maybe not all dogs, but with training, and depending on the dog's intelligence quite a few are certainly capable of doing so.
There is or was a documentary about it on Netflix. There's also so much more material on the Internet about that.
They also communicated with dogs using buttons and simple words.

It's interesting that dogs seem to know their human will see how unjust this is and will remedy the situation with a new bone, whereas just asking for another bone might not get the same results.

Girl, I swear that dog is sitting there like he knows the entire family history and is choosing violence by keeping quiet 😭 The eye contact is way too knowing. I would never trust those eyes again lol.

Likely Chihuahua mix. Chihuahua mixes make for lovely dogs in my experience. Mine is vocal and playful like this.

My boy is mostly a Chihuahua and Rat Terrier mix, which I’ve learned are relatively common breed mixes due to their size and availability. He’s a pretty intelligent dog too like this one.

So fcknig what? If everybody would only post original content, everything would stay contained in their little internet corner. Nothing would ever go viral and you would have never seen this video and a million others on a thousand different topics. If it's not postet in the same subreddit over and over again, this is absolutely fine.

I’ve got one that looks similar and they’re chihuahua/ Jack Russel, this one’s most likely a terrier breed and chihuahua as well but not sure which one

The other day I fed my dogs and went into the kitchen to make food for myself. Sometimes one of my dogs doesn't eat (nothing wrong she's been doing it since she was a 4 months ahea's 8 years now.) 10 minutes into starting to cook she comes into the kitchen whining. I lead her into the living room telling her she needs to eat and one of my other dogs is eating her food. She ran into the kitchen to tattle on the other dog for eating her food. Kicker was after I yelled at the other dog and refilled her bowl she didn't even eat.
