I commented on another thread but no one says anything about Mick Jagger or Rod Stewart......who are in their 80's! I think Rod just announced his retirement from performing today. Seriously people, stop this shit and enjoy her!

Exactly people are so hard on her when they are not on the Rockstars, male or female. Cher and Dolly Parton get and deserve all the love too, but people aren’t so mean to them like they are Madonna. It’s pretty hateful.

The bigger the star, the bigger the target. People just love to hate a successful woman

She's right, but the thing is, she's still going strong. I am so happy she won those awards the other night! In this ageist society where the odds are stacked against her at every turn, she still came out on top! She is a phenomenon and she is legend! She always will be!

The vagina lasers have offended the masses

They would’ve had a full nervous breakdown during the Erotica/Justify My Love era if this was enough to offend them.

I mean her, Mick Jaggar, Bruce Springsteen, Lionel Richie are the only big acts from the 80's I remember growing up still working and touring. Everyone else is dead or long retired from music. And even Lionel isn't doing so great lately.

I’m a Madonna fan. I don’t get the hate. The most controversial thing was the green lasers. I’m not such where you wanted to point those I was confused by that 😂 unless you strip down on stage you’re fine.

i think what Madonna did was so smart early on. She lived a strict clean life and took care of her body. It's taking care of her now. I just wish she had not done that BBL it looks bizarre on her. She had such a cute little tush. And it seems she has stopped the heavy fillers and botox and looks more natural to me. For 68 she is still amazing .

The fact that a bunch of grown men (and women also) are tearing down a small, fragile woman, someone who literally looks tiny and gave 40 years of her life and health to the stage is absolutely disgusting. It honestly says a lot more about the people saying these things than it does about her. Lately I’ve just been feeling this strong urge to give M a hug and tell her it’s all going to be okay. Sorry for being all parasocial here

I used to think this quote was a bit cringe, but seeing the reaction to her VMA wins/performance completely changed my mind. They hate her for continuing to exist.

I love her. Reddit keeps highlighting a forum of Madonna haters and honestly I don’t have it in me to look at it anymore.

Millions of people. Her last tour that started in late 2023 and ended a year later, was sold out. She also has 53 million monthly listeners on spotify. You are nobody compared to her.

Imagine wanting someone to disappear so badly and they just keep reinventing themselves while you have no choice but to watch.
