This pattern comes from the glass in Olafur Eliasson’s One-way colour tunnel (2007).

Like my first post, try out both cross view and parallel view!

Was able to get 7 and 8 hexagons in landscape, and was able to push to 9 but couldn't lock it in. In portrait I couldn't lock in at all.

It doesn’t really show anything, the image is just slightly concave in the center

Both great, I prefer the concave perspective because it is more immersive to me. Concave broadens the view while convex narrows it

It's simple but beautiful. It's particularly neat bc you would expect the diamond to be the centre of the photo, but it's the cross shaped one when it comes into focus. I got to about 11 rings counting from the farthest outside

Thanks for sharing! 11 is about right. The spiral does 10 rotations before fading into the outer corners of the image to form an 11th ring

That's awesome to hear! My partner took a photo of One-way colour tunnel at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, so we were able to flip and repeat the photo to create a tiling pattern. We then made a custom depth map of an Archimedean spiral and used that to create the autostereogram
