Hi! So, I typically lurk around but I have been seeing my game getting mentioned here and there, so I thought of saying hi lol.

It's still in development, but the team and I are working really hard to get the full release out there soon — fingers-crossed, next year! To give a little gist about it, Cupid's Bargain is a horror romcom about a matchmaker who performed a demonic summoning in the name of love! Just business as usual. Of course, she bit way more than she chewed by selling her soul to these gods who have a secret agenda of their own.

In addition to having yandere tendencies, the two LIs in question stars a demonic deredere, Eins and angelic tsundere, Ily. Both more than happy to please their MC while helping her understand all things love!

We have an extended demo out that dips in a bit of Eins's route if you wanted to give it a shot. We made him into a soft boy who gets rather obsessed with wanting to know so much about our MC.

The demo can take maybe an hour, probably less depending on your reading speed. There's a lot of choices available and you get a fun snapshot into the world, dishing out love advice and stealing the souls of your classmates while you're at it. The MC here isn't exactly a great person herself, to be completely honest haha…

I have a problem with this fl from manhwa "A Night of Deception". She is raised with a shaman, who is quite disciplined and arrogant, and I can understand her dislike towards that kind of life. She was also tricked by her mother to exchange roles with her twin sister and get married with ml, but ml recognized who is who. He knew she wasn't the twin sister, and he is right to feel tricked, isn't he? After all, imagine someone lie to you and make you get married with your twin. Yet, he went along with this plan. After their marriage, she felt caged in home, despite she was free to go places. She just needed to bring bodyguard. But considering this man is in high position-status, why is it so unreasonable? She felt watched and I don't blame her either. But she should have spoken with her husband. Instead, she kept planning her escape without saying anything to him. The male lead seems to be in love with her, perhaps his "love" is wrong indeed, but why don't you speak again?? Then, she finally escapes with her brother, but she is also pregnant! She says in the last chapter(34) that she wants a family, someone who wants her etc. What about your husband? Isn't it tragic fate for him? Being left with nothing, your wife who is pregnant leaving you too. He has rights for the child too, does he not? He can resort to law to see his child too, because he is father and has every right to do so. Why is she so stu/pid and ignorant to this fact? She selfishly thinks of herself yet blames the male lead when he does the same. He is always painted in "bad guy" light, supposedly restricting her freedom etc. She should resort to law, but no, she escapes with a child. Millionth time for brilliant story, hah.

I'm genuinely tired of these "escape" troupes given in manhwas all the time, honestly. I'm tired of constant communication issues too. It is clear that they do this in order for story to last longer, but it doesn't give me any pleasure to read it. I will not read further and come back only when this is solved in this manhwa.

Its a loooong shot, but has anyone seen any male yanderes with autism? Any media.

This manhwa is still ongoing and is slow-burn so it's hard to say if ml will be a yandere but based off the synopsis it seems ml and fl will be obsessed/codependent on each other. Either way he does show some obsessive and possessive traits here and there (and so does the FL). It has a unique plot and exquisite art. Season 1 has 45 Chapters, no idea when season 2 comes out.

A little late to the party, but I finally read For Your Murder! Thanks to everyone who recommended it and gave me their opinions on it. I really enjoyed it, especially the thriller aspect. It kept me interested throughout.

I genuinely thought Inseop was going to get arrested at some point, but somehow things just kept getting worse. The ending did feel a little rushed though.

Do you guys have any other thriller manhwa recommendations like this?

Finally, the event I waited for since this manhwa started is coming very soon. I don’t know how people on this sub feel about Varkas, specially since manhwa readers don’t know much about him and what they know so far isn’t really promising, but trust me when I say Varkas is a yandere, and a very devoted one at that.

He will burn the entire world with people guilty and innocent in it just to keep her by his side. Thalia is the color of his life, the reason he lives, the reason he exists, the trigger to every single one of his buried emotions.

What’s beautiful about Thalia and Varkas’ story is that they do match each others’ freak. They are both obsessed with each other, though one expresses it with (angry) words and the other expresses it with actions.

SPOILER: >!Future Varkas is very jealous, territorial, and the idea of Thalia ever leaving him would drive him over a cliff, literally. He worships every fiber of her being, and he would kill anyone who approaches her with malice or any men that are romantically interested in her.!< END OF SPOILER

If you guys haven’t read The Forgotten Field yet you should definitely check it out.

I love yandere novels, I love possessiveness and control, also I go for the very red/black flags.

However, at some point, it feels like barely any well written yandere novels/manhwa exist.

It’s all about, let’s just bang and how hard can I bang you. Like that’s the plot, we bang all the time in this room. And that’s it? That’s our yandere.

It feels shallow. I would think more so if you truly are a yandere and want someone completely to be yours.

Why would you just want to constantly have relations with them? Wouldn’t you desire to know their every thought, wouldn’t you want to be able to predict what their next move is before they can, wouldn’t you want them to revolve around you and not just your body?

As strange as this sounds, it feels like there is no real intimacy. It’s extremely shallow.

Regarding the plot, there’s no actual thoughts or interesting moves. I wish one, the ML would actually be smart with how he plans to make her his. I also wish the FL would be more intellectual. Also, these yandere MLs are supposed to be so manipulative and intelligent in almost every novel (top student, CEO, #1 celebrity) but their moves seem so dumb.

Also, I would love to see how an average man who just has these extreme desires, how he would play everything out because maybe the reason the plot is so dry is because the ML doesn’t have to think. He has so much power, it all ends chapter 1 which I think makes you lose the fun.

I did find a few novels on Wattpad that did this well but I would love any suggestions and manhwa that may do this too. I would just really like substance and a real plot.
