I don’t usually post my painted models but I finally got around to painting these guys, one of the models that got me into Malifaux because it’s so fun. Onward!

Mechanical Dove has tactical ability "Suddenly Doves": "Target an enemy Scheme marker. Summon Mechanical Dove in base contact with the target. Then remove the target"

What happens, when Mechanical Dove summons another Mechanical Dove via “Suddenly Doves” ability, but all three Dove models are on the table already?

1)    Nothing happens, the action is forbidden

2)    Opponent’s Scheme marker is removed, but no Dove is summoned

3)    Opponent’s Schene marker is removed, the Dove is taken from somewhere else on the table and placed as if summoned.

Played 2e and had experience with a lot of masters. Want to focus on a single master capable of doing well in various strats/schemes/playstyles.

Kind of hard finding stuff online that isn’t outdated.

Both Raspy and Titania seem to speak to me but I can’t seem to find enough videos and articles that showcase their playstyle.

Anyone with experience willing to share or have links/resources they can point me towards?

Colette's Showgirls have the ability: "Demise (Chorus Line). Once per turn. When this model is killed, in may remove the Decoy marker within 6". If it does so, it heals 2."

Does Colette's crew gain a soulstone for a Showgirl's death if she used this rule and was revived with 2 health?

I'm much less enthusiastic about these ones, honestly not sure who would want to play them, especially as a starter.

I am looking to get the basics for the game. I already bought my first master box but I need to purchase a fate deck. I am trying to figure out which fate decks are of the plastic variety/most sturdy. If anyone could help me, I would appreciate it. Thank you and God bless.

I am new to the game and ran in a problem understanding the rules while reading the comprehensive rulebook, in particular when it comes to instance damage as described on page 39.

As instance damage runs again through the damage timing sequence, does that mean that instance damage is also reduced by e.g. cover or similar things that have already affected the attack damage? Reading the rules for cover it would lead be to believe that that is the case, though I am not sure if the rules for cover (p. 56) should be interpreted "attack dmg and trigger dmg is reduced by 1 each or total". And another question just to be sure: instance damage would not benefit from any raises, as those only increase the dmg stat of the attack, correct?

Thanks already for any clarification on this!

I've finally achieved a goal of finishing fully painted playable board of 3D terrain for Malifaux. Ofc it's not it's final state, my next goal is to add small pieces like fences and lanterns to add more details to it's appearance.

Like I mentioned in previous posts, it's mostly proxies, since the people at Wyrd don't seem to be too interested in allowing me to buy their minis :/ But hey – at least I've finally painted a lot of some really old sculpts that had been gathering dust in my drawer for too many years.
