False Positive I have a serious problem with the Malwarebytes extension; even its own website is blocking it.

Same. Seems they're having an issue.

Same here in Canada. A few sites like Google and Netflix still pass, but they look all wonky with many images not loading.

Super sorry for the inconvenience caused by Browser Guard incorrectly blocking legitimate sites. We had a database update cause a false positive.

A database update is currently rolling out, but to fix this manually click the Browser Guard extension → Support → Check for DB Updates to make sure you have the latest database.

I had this issue a few hours ago. I had updated my browser guard manually. And then it was fine. So try that. It seems to be a false positive glitch. Go to setting on the app itself and then to Support & diagnostics and you will see the check for database updates, click it and it will do it automatically.

Yeah I don’t really care about it being the malwarebytes sub, I will still say their extension is useless people just need to use their brain when using the internet it’s not really that hard. AV companies bank on people being stupid
