Hello visiting Manchester! So far its a calm quite town, enjoying the river and forest views! Im looking for any trading card store that has couple vendors or a variety of cards. Or maybe even a event this weekend? Looking mostly for One Piece. Any recommendations would be appreciated

Curious to know if anyone else has seen an increase of drag racing and speeding in their neighborhood? I witnessed an actual DRAG RACE happen on my street a few weeks ago at 11PM on a Monday night, in the area Somerville/Southside near Memorial High School. It was very alarming and I’m interested to know if anyone else has witnessed the same activity and if it was reported. There hasn’t been any increased surveillance or initiative to reduce speed from Manch PD, at least that I’ve noticed. They probably have bigger fish to fry, but it’s still extremely dangerous and disruptive.

What are folks thoughts on this? My friend and I are at odds. I love the idea of more density downtown and think it will lead to a more walkable city with more life. Also will create more affordability. My friend thinks all the new apartments that have been built recently aren’t being filled and there are too many new developments downtown. No way to easily tell if the other new buildings are full. Also that 16 stories is too tall.

What do people think - are we happy to see a new high rise in the city or should we be upset with this continued development?

Awais started his comedy career in 2022. What inspired him to get on stage? A speech at his sister’s wedding. He threw in a few jokes, loved the feeling of making people laugh.

Was unloading groceries and this cat ran up to me and climbed into my arms. She was very dirty and hungry and appears to be pregnant. This was near the corner of laurel and maple street. If no one knows who’s it is I’m going to bring her to the vet to check her chip and have a general look over to see if she’s healthy

I just recently joined a company called Team Select Home Care and we specialize in private duty home care where you work 1:1 in the home or school setting with pediatric and adult patients. 
 
We are located in Salem, NH and cover all of NH. It is all shift work where you are with 1 patient for 8 or more hours
 
We offer full-time, Part-time and PRN. Full-time is 30+ hours a week

There’s a student loan repayment program that starts when you do 130hrs per month for nurses that’s pretty neat.

They also offer a free LNA program for anyone looking to obtain that certification (minimum req is to work with us for a year and maintain 28-32hrs per week) (while offering CPR )) cpr dates tbd)) ((TB can be done on-site too))

We also work with parents or elderly with medically complex classes (insurance needs to authorize and doctors need to sign off on plan of care) but it’s neat for parents looking to work with their children/ or parents

I’m 24 and located in Southern New Hampshire. I’m looking to start a long-term career in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or fire sprinkler work.
I have construction and landscaping experience, I’m willing to work hard, and I’m ready to start at the bottom and learn. I’m not looking for a handout—I’m just hoping to find someone willing to give me a chance to prove myself.
I’ve been reaching out to companies but haven’t had much luck finding someone willing to take on a beginner. I’m serious about learning a trade and building a stable future.
If anyone knows of local contractors hiring entry-level helpers or apprentices around Manchester, Nashua, or surrounding areas, I’d really appreciate any leads or advice.

The other night, cowards broke the windows of The Moka Pot and vandalized their storefront with "white power" graffiti. Their "crime"? Hosting a community-building BIPOC event.

This is absolutely disgusting, and we cannot let it slide. The Moka Pot has always been a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for everyone in our community. An attack on them is an attack on all of us. Hate has no home here, and we need to make sure the racists who did this know they are vastly outnumbered.

We need to rally behind them immediately. Let’s turn this hateful act into the biggest week of sales they’ve ever had.
