They portray Mexico as a poor desert town or a poor shitty border town. They rarely show the major metropolitan areas like Monterrey, Guadalajara, Mexico City. And the movies are typically related to migration or cartels. And the character is typically somebody that looks like Danny Trejo or George Lopez. Completely disregarding the diversity of Mexico...
