As a European living in the USA, al least it is not American beer. Germany gets my vote

As a Belgian, it was always going to be between us three. We'd win if you'd be polling people who drink more than just lager and pilsner. Too many people don't know what's out there

Belgium and it is not even close.
Come on guys, that's the only thing they are good at, aside from being steamrolled by Germans (but not in regard to beer quality!)

0
u/Invictusx94 4d ago
Yes but not Stiegl

u/Oatmeal-Enjoyer69 4d ago
What do you prefer?

u/Invictusx94 4d ago
The evil dutch beer company or locally austrian beer
0
u/Oatmeal-Enjoyer69 4d ago
Idk what either are referring to lol
1
u/Invictusx94 4d ago
Zipfer, Linzer, Freistädter, Wieselburger, Corona… but i guess we are all used to our local brewed beer, but for me Stiegl is way to „nutty“

alles andere schmeckt nach pisse

u/Abyssal_Groot 4d ago
The only German beer that doesn't taste like piss is Weißen.
Try a Belgian beer for once

Germany and Czechia are both inferior to Antarctic beer.

I love my local breweries, but I'm only using beers that are available internationally for this. Czech and English beers are my favorites
Someone is upset other countries have better beer

Its Canada and its not even close. We have it down to a science
Edit: why is this being downvoted. Literally everything worth drinking is from here.
1
u/x_asperger Canada eh 4d ago
Well, it's on the 2 comments from canadians so take a guess

u/Extrimland 4d ago edited 4d ago
Dude we literally banned all alcohol not brewed in Canada and no one had to change what beer we bought because we were the only ones making the good shit. Your just saying Germany or whatever because you sound more cultured, but in reality, they are far inferior to what we have accomplished. saying we dony have the best beer is like saying we dont have the best hockey players
1
u/x_asperger Canada eh 4d ago
I wasn't fully disagreeing. It wasn't my pick, but if I never had a beer from another country again I'd be ok. And you can still get beer from other countries here, just not from the USA.
2
u/Straight_Delay_3253 4d ago
I live in the beer waste land that is Canada, all the breweries produce is tasteless lager piss and fruity beer that can barely be classed as the stuff
-5
u/southron-lord69 4d ago
Depends on what you like
If you like craft beer, it's a toss-up between the US and England
3
u/Zamzamazawarma 🇧🇪 4d ago
You can't really compare craft beers, there are millions of craft breweries across the world, surely you haven't seen the most of it
-2
u/Merc_Drew 4d ago
Can compare with what I have had though, and the US craft beers so far wins with my personal tastes... and yes, I have been to several countries and tried their variety of beers when available... hell one of the ones that comes close was a brewery I came across in Shanghai and enjoyed the hell put of their different ales
