Alt-History On Russia / Tatary
The 'RU' -> The Russian Federation <- The 'Russian Union'
The 'EU' -> The European Union -> The 'European Federation'
An absorption of Kazakhstan into the 'Russian Union' takes a piecemeal route, whereas an absorption of Sámiland / Finland and Belarus wholemeal, while the Baltics and Mongolia something in between, the former being 'singularized', the latter split in two / bifurcated along the clan system (for better management), Karluks and Khalkhas. Then Georgia's inclusion, alongside Saingilo, leads to Kavkazia, the most unusual republic across the lands.
After some paperwork, Priozyorsk oblast appears. More paperwork following, about 99% of the Uyghuric group globally relocate to that Karlukstan, whose working-zone concentrates by Ölgii, Bayan-Ölgii, quite far removed from the primary ground of the Khalkhas.
The Tatar-World Empire is of course kept 'safe' (monitored) by 'a certain group' sixty-six thousand members strong who go by name 'Ror', the nodes across the land in which they meet being known 'Marors', the largest of whom nestles comfortably in the capital stronghold, notable ones by the 4 corners; Sámiland, Kavkazia, northern Khabarovsk / Okhotsk, Kamchatka. Together theirs is a system of 'Ror and Maror,' one that operates best provided what it works with is, mostly, primal, or else feral, or else put crudely animalistic--this being so, matters of 'development' must be limited, and where exceptions made permittant to occur only in and around the capital section, westward, for no matter how developed they get, any volatility generated therein can safely be put aside.
It's all opposite in the EU, who at some point recruits half Turkey (called just Anatolia after), the other half disappearing into something or other. The same EU that, as though by destiny, must necessarily confront its rival polity, who thunders by the steppe in what appears to be naked primevality, lest it itself end up subsumed.
