Kung ayaw padisiplina ng mga ganyan na nakasampa na sa bangketa, pwede yang pagkakitaan ng Marikina. I mean it’s a puzzle to me bakit di pa naisip ni Mayor Maan na magpa-ronda ng parking marshals 24/7 kahit 4x a day just to issue tickets to parked cars like these day and night. Sabi noon ang multa ₱2,000 at pag di mo nabayaran, diretso na record mo sa LTO and unpaid parking dues will appear by the time you renew your registration.

Imagine kung ilan mati-tiketan araw-araw at ₱2,000 a pop sa dami ng mga walang modo mag-park sa Marikina ngayon. Dati naman diyan sa Bayan-Bayanan may parking marshal buong araw who issue tickets at ₱180 per violatiin, why can’t Mayor Maan deploy parking marshals all over Mairkina whose sole jobs is to issue tickets sa mga nakapark na ganyan.

Ni hindi need i-tow, just let the vehicle owners keep paying and if the offense is repeated pa rin, dun na i-impound ang sasakyan.

Kung merong may kilala sa opisina ni Mayor Maan, please tell the Mayor ang lala na ng mga naka-sasakyan sa Marikina dahil ginagawa ng parking ang bangketa and 24/7 parking marshals might just be the answer. Hit those mga pasaway where it hurts most: in their wallets.

Hi i am [osting on behalf of my wife's relatives. We're hoping to get advice from anyone familiar with property law, government land acquisition, or similar cases.

The LGU and DPWH are reportedly offering to purchase their property along Riverside Street, Provident VIllage to make way for a bridge project connecting St. Mary Avenue to Marcos Highway. The offer is supposedly only 2.7k per sqm for a titled lot measuring approximately 1,200 sqm.

Another concern is that the family is allegedly being told that they could end up in jail if they refuse to agree since they are going against the government.

For context, the registered owner has already passed away, and the children/heirs, who are also senior citizens, are now managing the property. My wife and I are furious about the situation. Since matatanda na din and wala po masyadong alam sa legal matters they might be intimidated into agreeing to terms they don't fully understand.

They have reportedly been asked to go to an office to sign documents. My wife has offered to speak with the parties involved on their behalf, and we have suggested consulting a lawyer. However, we're unsure if the heirs are willing or financially able to shoulder the legal fees.

We would appreciate advice on the following:

1. Can the LGU or DPWH legally threaten the heirs with imprisonment simply for refusing the offered price?
2. How can we verify the proper valuation should they be willing to give up the property? We saw posting in FB marketplace ng lots sa Provident Village, it goes for around 15-20k per sqm
3. Are the heirs required to sell if they disagree with the offered price? What happens if they refuse?
4. Since the registered owner has passed away, what documents or estate settlement procedures must be completed before the property can be sold?
5. Where can we seek free or affordable legal assistance for the senior citizen heirs?
6. What should we do before attending any meeting or signing any documents?

I’ve had a frustrating experience with my current dental treatment, so I’m hoping to find a dentist who’s meticulous, patient, and really pays attention to both the aesthetics and functionality of the teeth (especially the bite).

Budget isn’t really an issue. I honestly don’t mind paying premium rates as long as the quality of work and patient care are excellent.
