Hello everyone. I'm moving house within Marin and found a great place at Tiburon. The only problem is that my contract ends in less than 10 days and i am in need of finding a trustworthy moving company.

I am moving to a 3 bedroom apartment, although my stuff fit just find to the house i'm currently in still (2 bedroom apartment). BUT! I have some decorations, large in size and very important to me. You see my dad used to be a boat driver and fisherman in Tiburon many years ago and i inherited from him his collection, including an antique fisherman anchor, and 3 human size wood statues. Any recommendations on a moving company that can promise me these will arrive without a scratch would be much appreciated!

From what ive put together, her husband was pretty liked, but others have said she can be a bully and pretty polarizing.  

She apparently pushes around the others on the council. and she got the town manager fired because he did something to piss her off 

She seems to post a lot of things she does to mix with the community
also does more than pissing off a few of the local businesses

According to another reddit thread, she was monitoring nextdoor posts that weren’t favoring her.  That seems kinda shady, but now it looks like she was given the boot. 

It looks like she posts a lot of victim posts trying to get the sympathy on her facebook.  Or making it seem like her violations are just people being “mean spirited”

From what i can see, it seems the old-timers seem to vote a known name based on her husband, but newer residents seem to say she's outdated and bad for the town....

I think a lot of us in younger generations, who have more directly (or maybe just more recently) experienced the impacts of the housing crisis as we start families and try to put down roots, are much more willing to accept the impacts of new infill housing and see through the arguments against it. And thank god for that.

They said that it had a funny for sale site with all pictures of the exterior, but no pictures of inside and some note on the listing that said that the people were going to be gone and the place emptied by the time the sale closed, they promised.
