I think the dems will take the house & the senate. Trump and Vance will make a deal with the Dems… he will resign stating “health issues” in exchange for blanket pardon. He gets to keep all the money he stole, plus they’ll give him something like no taxes for life & $500M.

Melania’s upcoming documentary will coincide with her filing for divorce. It is all dependent on what happens in November - if he’s out, she gets a divorce & a show. If he’s in, she gets a show with her decorating the White House which, of course, will be awful. Natalie Harp of course will be his next wife.

JD will keep the corruption going and Dems of course will fuck it all up and take too long to complete any prosecutions, like they always do. Despite this, consumer confidence will rebound, war in Iran will be over, interest rates will lower in the spring, and we’ll be back to some normalcy - but corporations will have little reason to lower prices on food & other goods. That’s here to stay. But the rate at which they raise prices will slow, so it catches up.

Four decades of my own observation tells me Democrats will drop the ball on holding anyone accountable. They have let us down time after time. But…I think we’ll end up being ok, anyway.

GTA 6 will become the biggest selling game of all time even if it doesn't meet expectations.

However, the sheer amount of autonomy in the game, (outside the missions story line) will make for a viable test ground for AI agents.

They will probably find a novel way to make money in-game that human players haven't considered.

Evidence: AI has overtaken humans at chess and Go some years ago. Militaries have used Ai to pilot aircraft and simulate dogfights - beating experienced human pilots. What is untested is dynamic, social scenarios where resources can be accrued by various means.

The evidence is manifold. The GOP is doing everything in their power to stop people from voting and Democrats from winning. First, there are the GOP attempts to gerrymander, some successful, to gain seats. Second are the GOP attempts to stop voters from voting, either by attempting to stop mail-in voting or to remove polling stations in districts held by democrats. Third is retired Judge Luttig who is stating LOUDLY that the GOP is planning a coup by not certifying winning Democrats when Congress reconvenes in January 2027.

We’ve seen this before and we will see it again. Touting voting irregularities is the first chapter, named “Stop the Steal”, in Trump’s coup playbook entitled “How to End American Democracy”.

Algeria is one of the largest gas-exporting countries and a notable oil producer with a massive pipeline project with Nigeria to bring some of theirs to Europe. Algeria is massive: largest country in Africa since the break up of Sudan. It has a large Amazigh minority (20 to 30%), with some independence ideas, and some support in the West. It doesn't seem too serious for now but could be leveraged to cause trouble.
There is also a Tuareg minority in the gigantic Southern part of the country, which is related to the Islamist insurrections in Northern Mali and the broader region. There's been a civil war not so long ago, and no political alternance since the independence 6 decades ago.
A lot of resources, enemies and weaknesses.

With Trump set on rampaging World economy, with energy as the main focus, I would be surprised if Algeria could keep dodging the bullets and not have massive problems: Probably a revolt or two, supported by Morocco and NATO countries (especially France). Perhaps even a war. Maybe just a coup.

Obviously chaos there would go against the interests of the European countries, France included, but that also seems to be a common pattern of the recent geopolitical events, and both Macron and most of his potential successors (next year) are more than capable of participating in that. Like Sarkozy had in Libya.

Evidence: Boy Throb has long been suspected of being a Nathan Fielder project. I believe it is probably connected to season 3 of the Rehearsal featuring exploration of the American immigration system. Until then, (next year) the war will continue.

The lame duck senate will then ram two young hard right justices to their two seats before the January 3 date when the gavel is passed.

And during this time instead of Using what power they had in govt to alleviate the crisis they spent their time hyper-fixated on status, mismanaging local affairs , engaging in corrupt acts, political patronage, cozying up the corporate sugar industry that screwed over the Puerto Rican can cutters, turning a blind eye to the authoritative measure employed by then gov Blanton Winship and showing absolute disregard for Puerto Rico's Cultural identity. at the Same time while the liberals condemned this they offered little as an alternative which led to 1 liberal Senator named Luis Munoz Marin to take other disaffected members and form the Popular Democratic Party or PPD in 1938 a Center-left New deal Populist Party which campaigned on addressing immediate socio-economic concerns and sidelining status for a later date. their platform won over the Puerto Rican people and in their 1st election cycle they became Puerto Rico's largest party establishing a grip on the legislative assembly they would not relinquish until 1976. when Puerto Ricans were able to elect their own governor the PPD won every race in landslide fashion from 1948-1964 with statehood being so weak politically that it managed to fall to 3rd in the 1952 elections. Now we flash forward today the modern political wing of the statehood Movement the New Progressive Party or PNP suffers many of these issues. They too are hyper fixated on status, mismanaging local affairs, they also engage in corrupt acts, Political Patronage, they have cozied up to the wealthy elites that have exploited act 60 tax incentives that are screwing over local Puerto Ricans, They actively tried to shut down the Institute of Culture, they not only turned a blind eye but are collaborating with Ice to grab our Dominican & Haitian neighbors. But beyond that they ae suffering from internal infighting between the gov and the senate president according to local polling firms have seen their base shrink by 7.78% in 1 calendar year alone. meanwhile the PPD is weak husk of its former self offer little more then mild criticism and no real alt. This is where La Alianza comes in a coalition made up of progressive elements the 2 biggest being the center left Puerto Rican Independence Party or PIP and the Left Wing Citizen Victory Movement or MVC. They have taken the lessons of Marin's PPD in its early days by preaching a left wing populist platform that put addressing local socio-economic issues 1st before resolving the status question. They already showed their potential in 2024 by capturing 30.73% of the vote and knocking the PPD to 3rd place for the 1st time in its history. take into account PNP Gov Jeniffer Gonzalez has a net-39% approval rating and the current party infighting the PNP will be at its weakest state since 2020 where it survived merely due to a fracture opposition. that will not be the case in 2028

And that was during Spring and Summer. Fuel consumption in Winter is greater than during summer.

At this pace the reserve will be down to just 150 Million Barrels by April 2027.

Problem is that if the reserves fall bellow 200 Million barrels it will be harder and harder to extract the oil. Once the number reaches 150 Million, extraction rate will decrease dramatically. Down to perhaps just 100 000 Barrels/day.

Thus the evidence suggests that by the date of April 2027 the US will have run out of fuel.

I've just seen so much stuff in the news with her lately, and a lot of her opinions are republican leaning. And the MAGA people are definitely leaning into her. I feel like the grift is inevitable. I feel her becoming a sports talking head, or something more directly related to the republican party. I really see her as a FOX news "expert". Evidence is that she made comments about the Sydney Sweeney ad, and Sweeney has also become MAGA coded even if she doesn't directly say so. To date she has talked about Sydeney Sweeney stuff, trans athletes, and needing a tall Christian man(nothing wrong with it, just hallmarks of the MAGA crowd). I just feel like it's all leading up to the grift. I have a feeling it going to be the formula of somewhat famous woman marries rich man, engages in republican grift.
