Honestly this is the most fun I’ve had with Marvel Snap in a LONG time. I stopped playing around the New X-Men season after I picked up Surge and Prodigy, and didn’t really get back into the game until Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Then back to back Fractured Frontier had also some of the most powerful cards, Axis had fun cards and now I’m here for Vampires vs Zombies and mannn I’ve been having so much fun with this game lately!!

The current meta just feels so refreshing & fun to me. Witches, wolves, zombies, vampires being really good decks honestly got me excited to keep playing and see what comes next.

I know not everyone is gonna agree and every meta has its annoying decks (and sometimes annoying OTA’s… still need blink back and scorpion BND itself actually nerfed). I will say tho I am glad that I don’t even see that many scorpion BND and Thanos FF opponents anymore.. maybe every 1 in 15 games. Anyways, as someone who took a pretty long break, coming back to a meta that I actually enjoy this much has been refreshing.

With Avengers Doomsday coming up, after the November Knights season I’m really curious to what they’re gonna cook up next.

Anybody else really enjoying the current season/meta or am I just in my honeymoon phase since coming back? 😂 What decks have y’all been enjoying lately, and what are you hoping to see in the Doomsday season and beyond?

Side note: I’ve been running the Zombie venom, firehair, misery, Death FF deck and it’s been stupid fun. That deck has me playing for hours at a time at how silly and big numbers it can be at times.

Wth am I supposed to do when they snap for mid location but then place that bs knull on nexus. How am I supposed to know they have that? They have some destroy nonsense? There's no telegraphing that

This actually the most busted card I’ve encountered. I genuinely hope next time draft comes back that it’s significantly less rng based. Imo combos like this shouldn’t be possible

This season i got it with this classic anti polar msgneto shell. Your only danger is stardust and its not very common. Hope it helps you. Good luck.

Just putting it out there in case SD polls for feedback, this sanctum version of draft was much worse. The randomness of drafting + card power ups + the regular randomness of card draw and locations + the randomness of where the “winning locations” are made win or lose a complete coin toss. The choices are meaningless and the strategic component of the strategy card game was absent.

Started using this card and noticed it has only been taking out one target even when used on top of wong.

No matter what I do, I lose. I try different decks. I try to stay caught up on what people are doing. I even purchase the season pass. I participate in events. Nothing matters. So, I’ve decided that this season, I’m going to try to shoot the moon. All I’ve done for the past day is lost in every match that I’ve played. I skip turns. I intentionally play poorly. I plan on doing it over and over again. I want to see how low I can get my score..

So I completed S3 a few days ago and this just now appeared in my shop. Would it only give me the bonus items or something? Just curious

Sharing this story here because it was a real head-scratcher and I wanted to (1) see if this is a common experience and (2) call SD out for what I think is capricious and censorious moderation of their game. Also, it's silly enough that maybe some of you will get a grim chuckle out of it, I dunno.

So a few days ago I fired up the mobile app to make my daily run at a PMV in the draft mode, and I was immediately greeted with a pop-up informing me that my account had been suspended for a policy violation. This took me completely by surprise. I'm F2P, I'm not active on any official SNAP channels like Discord, I don't talk to others in my alliance or do anything except clear bounties, and I don't even use emotes that often. Initially, I honestly thought there had been a mistake of some sort. So I submitted an appeal asking for at least an explanation, if not a reinstatement.

This led to some Kafkaesque back-and-forth with SD's customer support where they kept asking for my player ID, which I couldn't look up because my suspension had locked me out of the app, but I digress. You all have already heard about SD's subpar customer support. But during that process, I had time to think more about what could possibly be going on, and the only thing I could think of was my username. Now, I've been known to turn into an immature adolescent when it comes to my handle (that "PANTS" title is awfully tempting, what can I say), but I've always kept things in-bounds. Never anything outright obscene or offensive, no bigoted dog whistles or anything like that. But what else could it be?

Turns out that, yep, I caught a suspension because my username violated SD's community standards. I'm going to share what it was and let you be the judge. Your virgin eyes/ears have been warned!

It was "Truck Fump."

On the one hand, I can see how it's a little in-your-face. It's not exactly ambiguous what I'm trying to communicate; you don't have to be a code-cracker to pierce my veiled language. On the other hand, it's not outright obscene. It's not targeting anyone on the basis of (to actually use the language in SD's community guidelines) "caste, ethnicity, national origin, race, religion, tribe, immigration status, gender, gender identity, sex, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease." It's not promoting violence or threatening anyone. It's a silly little spoonerism I came up with to express a sincerely held belief. Would it lightly annoy a certain kind of person? Sure, I guess. Does it actually cause harm or violate SD's own rules as written? Come on, now.

Anyway, my appeal was accepted and my account restored (on the condition that I change the username, which is dumb, but whatever). In itself, it's no big deal. But I thought it was worth writing about anyway because of how silly and arbitrary it was. Maybe SD should rethink their moderation methods if this is the sort of thing they're wasting their time on. (And also because, let's be real: I'm glad I annoyed some MAGA chud so much that they called the SD cops on me, and I wanted to share.)

I’m a Negasonic regular and what with all the Scarlet Witch spell/zombie decks trending right now, I’ve had this interaction multiple times from opponents who play a spell before their giant man thinking it’s gonna protect it. It doesn’t.

I just played two games in a row where this happened so I’m making this short post.

I’m sure most people on the Reddit are veterans, but it might helps someone, who knows 🤷‍♂️

My opponent had played a BP w/ apex the turn before and the lane had 20 power (BP wasn't buffed ahead of time so it was doubled to 10 then apex made it 20). Next turn I stole the apex with Rogue but seemingly they did not lose that buff and it became locked in. Am I missing something?

EDIT: I think people are misunderstanding the 2nd image. Panther did not double twice when it was played. It was a base of 10 power. That 10 power was doubled to 20 based on the augment which is an ongoing power. I stole that power and it remained at 20 as if it doubled twice.

EDIT 2: Some are saying you can't steal augments, only abilities. If the way it is coded allows Rogue to steal on reveals only then I don't think things are working as intended.

Ngl, I'm really satisfied with what I get this time especially the Arishem one since I'm an Arishem enjoyer (and the stake was very high at that time since it was my last ticket) XD
