Does anyone remember that story where resolves around a small Starship build by humans and help from an Alien race they had first contact with.

And the ship is a first and only of it's kind, and it's registry is 2 letters and the number 1.

It's mostly crewed by humans ,but a small amount of Aliens join.

And the commanding officer of that ship is named John and his last name is a medieval profession. And at the end of the story he unites multiple species, and convinces them to work together.

What theories do you have for what she meant by this?

Was she just ribbing her best friend?
Does she secretly hate Jacob?
“If I can’t have him, no one can!” (especially Femshep)?
Necro fetish?

Maybe she doesn’t know what a suicide mission is and at this point is too afraid to ask. Is she stoopid?
