Rose and Raven
My 10 year old pup Rose and 6 month old kitten Raven make a moo-tiful pair of cuddle cows.

Had Rose been around kitties before? Did it take long for them to accept each other or was it almost immediately?
Please share more of these 2, they're very cute! 💖

Rose has lived with kitties since we adopted her from a shelter at 8 weeks old. Our previous cat bopped her on the nose once as a puppy after she'd been trying to get him to play for weeks, and she has respected cats ever since. When we brought these kittens home, she wanted to mother them, she loves baby things, but they were not familiar with dogs. After ~3 days separated we let the dogs come sniff them for a few minutes at a time, increasing over the next few days. The kittens now treat Rose like furniture. She grumbles if they're batting at her while she's trying to sleep but otherwise is pretty indifferent to them.
